Right now I have video's from You Tube (not mine) set up as links on the page, I would rather show the actual video, not just the link. Can anyone help me with this?

Hey Kim,

When you go to the video in question, there will be a section called "Share" (below the video itself). Click on that. Then click on "Embed". Copy the code that is presented to you. Then in your post, use the Text option instead of Visual and paste the code into there. Technically the video still plays through YouTube but it is shown on your site.

Best Regards,
Jim

There should be a way to embed it. Or, you could link to the video, but ask it to open in a new window, rather than replacing the page you are on. This will keep your traffic on your page.

Yes, I copied the URL. So right click on the image and COPY URL. Then while in Edit, you will see Visual and Text, click on Text. Now just paste the link. Publish and then View Post. Good luck!

WordPress claims to turn the links into video's but they may not appear that way from your editor. Would you like me to looks at your site and see if the video appears?
