Make sure that in the way of making a good living, you are living good!

I just took the first break/vacation of this year. I live in New York and I came Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. A quick 3-day vacation away from my daily routine.

And my brain needs this. Since the beginning of this 2018 year, I have worked as a full time middle school teacher, I have been in charged of two after-school programs, I have coached a soccer team, I have work as a math tutor in a college around my area, I have taken 7 online graduate courses, I have taught summer school, I have taught a 2-week summer program, and I have tutored via Skype. Those are all my "paid jobs" on top of everything that I need to add to my crazy schedule.

So yea, I think I deserve this time off.

What's my message on this blog post? MAKE SURE THAT YOU REWARD YOURSELF!

In the process of working hard, make sure that you are also enjoying life.

Let me when you plan to have a "quick break" and what you plan to do? It doesn't have to be a long trip but YOUR brain needs a time off. Don't be mean to yourself :) If money/time is an inconvenient, work it out. It doesn't have to be a "dream vacation", just a quick break...

- Victor.

You are so right! We all need to remember to take time for ourselves, ie "Me time". While the idea of working non-stop may sound like a good idea, in the long run, it really isn't and can end up doing the body more harm than good. Enjoy your mini-vacay! You deserve it!

Great advice!
I'm back home and recharged!
I will spend the weekend at the New York City and then will officially start the 2018-2019 school year and all the work that comes with it :)

Hey Victor,
Yes you are correct!! Even your "brain" deserves a break every now and then.

Tried and True

Elaine

Hope you have a good one.
Blessings

Enjoy your vacation :)

Hello Victor. I am also on Vacation. a very needed vacation. It has recharged my brain. I have a plan set up for when I get back home. I am ready to get back to work.

It is no good working too hard if you can't get a reward every now and then. Everyone deserves a vacation at times.

Derek

Thank you very much :)

Hi Victor

I like those encouraging words!
Thank you.

Enjoy a well-deserved break, Victor!

Thank you very much!
Two more days :)

Recharging one's batteries so to speak is wonderfully healthy for balance in life! ... good on you for taking a well-deserved break ... enjoy the journey of life in happiness ... :)

Thank you so much (And I can't still take a full break because I'm still here but it's okay haha)

I appreciate your kind words!

you're most welcome! ... thanks kindly for sharing & posting ... :)

Wow, 3 days is a vacation to you? I say a week or more is a vacation to me. In any event, I hope you had fun at Pocono and you are able to "recharge the brain battery" once you come back. Yes, you do deserve that break and will be refreshed for your usual routine.

To answer your question, I plan to take a quick break sometime next month and will be hanging out with the family to be able to hang out as there doesn't seem to be much of it as everyone seems to be too busy taking care of family and being able to make ends meet. And, no, it's not camping, taking a cruise break or anything that resembles that dream vacation. Hopefully, this answers your question.

Well, with all the responsibilities that I have, 3 days is what I can afford for now (I can't cancel my team practices on Mondays and Wednesdays) but I totally agree with you.. Hopefully I can get more days for my next plan :)

Best of luck and as long as you have a starting point, you have a goal to accomplish. I'm sure you will make it work with your family and that vacation will be great.

See you at the top!

Much appreciation. Thanks! I look forward to seeing you at the top as well.
