All is well in the universe! I know exactly how you feel! I have a job that I LOVE but I can't wait to get out either! And just like you I log into WA whenever an opportunity presents itself.
I don't know about you but when I went to school I was taught that I need to study hard, get a good education, get a job at a large company that pays well and has good benefits. After ...like thirty years or something, I can retire and live well... This formula does not account for cutbacks, mergers, layoffs, economic downturns...you name it. You are a teacher, so teach others how to have the most amazing existence on this planet. The best way to teach is by example. Make it so that people come up to you dropping their jaw and asking how you did that...? So much wealth, health and happiness?! I think you and I are at the same place in our lives...the start of the most amazing experience ever!

I'm sorry about all this confusion you are going through. It's clearly obvious from your message that you love both teaching and Wealthy Affiliate. At the same time, you don't want to teach for the rest of your life.

This is what I recommend. Draw up a solid plan and integrate the two. You know when you prepare for teaching lessons, and when you can make out some time. Plan in such a way that you will teach and gradually build your business at the same time. Then work the plan.

You will no longer feel that anxiety of always rushing to your computer to connect since you will know exactly when to connect.

And if you remain consistent with your plan, your online business will grow consistently and steadily too. This will need some discipline on your part, and your main motivation should be the desire to make your online business work sooner or later. You can then make it full time once it starts generating some revenue needed to run your household.

The only suggestion I can give you, Victor is to work at your own pace. There is a lot to learn and it can be somewhat overwhelming if you try to do too much. Everyone has a different learning speed and different amounts of time they can spend on this platform.

Do what you can when you can. Be consistent.

I mean, obviously, you want this to work so you just have to keep moving forward, whatever that looks like, you know what I mean?

You have only just started and, yes, it's going to take time so don't stress about it. You will lose sleep if you do and a tired teacher is not a good thing. You need to be at your best for those amazing kids.

Is that your wife in the picture with you? I ask because she can help you with this as well. As a team, you can accomplish more and if you both have computers you can do it at the same time.

Don't give up too soon. Pursue your dreams, don't let them die.

Victor, like you, everyone had something else going on before they hit upon WA. The beauty of WA is that you can transition into it at whatever pace you choose. You can stay indefinitely in teaching and have WA as a side gig. You can change your mind later and go full on WA as well, that could be years down the road. Take it as it comes.

you are doing everything right, you have a full time job and working WA at the same time. You have the full time income to live with while your working at your WA income and when it gets to your present income then you can quit and keep building at WA. The future looks bright. Keep it working.

I am SO with you! I have been sick and tired working for someone else on a schedule THEY provide. Since I have the longing to travel and see the world, I had to find SOMETHING to allow me to be my own boss, work on my own terms... and I can't recall exactly how I came across WA but HERE I AM! I also am excited to start seeing a significant income from what I have been learning here at WA.
