Ambassador - Purpose and Passion

Good morning WA from a rather stormy day here in New Zealand.

I woke this morning around 6.30 and made my 1st coffee and as always I decided to see how everything is going here in WA.

Thank you

As my WA opened there was Congratulations you are an Ambassador message on my screen.

I feel so humbled by this and so grateful and happy and kind of overwhelmed all in one giant emotion.

Purpose

As you see in the photo above I started playing guitar from an early age, 8 in fact and all I wanted to be was a Singer/Songwriter- entertainer and every day I practiced playing guitar and singing and wrote my 1st song when I was 12. This is not to brag but to simply share with you that if you have a purpose, Set yourself to live this purpose every waking moment.

Passion

Having a purpose create the passion that drives us to want to focus, Practice, learn, achieve and keep achieving whatever our purpose is and for me it was a 25-year journey, traveling, singing, watching people fall in love, dance close, rock n roll and all the other wonderful experiences I had while on this journey.

Change

As some of you know back in 2006 while I was singing in New Caledonia as a massive Country Festival held on the island I became unwell. Short story- My musical director and dear friend and I cut the tour short and flew back to New Zealand so I could get proper medical help.

I had life saving brain surgery as I had an aneurysm in my carotid artery in the lower stem of my brain.

I was the 1st person to have what is known as a coiling procedure done in the hospital I was admitted to and Guess What It Worked !!! YAY!!!!!

Accepting change

While I was recovering I knew my career as an Entertainer was over and I accepted this with grace because everything we are given that feels bad at the time is always a gift as well.

This may be a little hard to accept for some people however it is true.

"When one door shuts another one opens" This old saying is so true. Love it!!

New life

Ever since I was a child I have always loved people and have also cared about people and given a hand when needed and today is not different.

In 2000, I did a 12-week course The Dale Carnegie Course and I realized during that course that my purpose in life was to be a communicator and at the time I thought this was through my songs and music which it was.

After the 2006 experience and knowing my career as an Entertainer was ended I decided to study with the some greats in Personal Development/ Leadership and continue today to learn from these great teachers,

The Communicator

I knew my true purpose in life was helping people live greater lives by encouraging them, empowering them and helping them with my skills as a Communicator.

Relevance to WA

On my journey helping people I created a website with WIX (LOL) thinking it would bring people to me and I would help them. WRONG!!! I had clients offline but wanted to help more people and having a website floating out there in Cyber space wasn't going to do it.

I kept looking for a platform that would help me develop the skills I needed to build a website that would not be drifting out there but one that would attract visitors and get things rolling for me.

Hallelujah

I arrived at a website which mentioned this great place to build your online future and decided to join for free and check it out to see if was a fit for me and also if it was honest and had what I needed.

2 days I had checked out all I thought necessary and upgraded to Premium and WOW!!!!

How amazing was this choice. 10 / 10 Best choice I have made since I was a kid with a guitar.

My Purpose and Passion - Here in 1 amazing platform. How could I be so fortunate?

I literally knew I had a found a new home here at WA, a place where I could learn new skills with the amazing training, grow my businesses and most of all I could help people by giving them help, encouragement and offer advice if it was asked for. My purpose and all it encompasses is being here with WA and this wonderful community of beautiful people from all over the globe. Amazing!!!

Ambassador- How?

I learned the rules required as a member here in WA and I try to abide by them 99% of the time with the odd slip up now and then so here is a few things to consider

• Be genuine when commenting- things like "great" "Well done" don't really cut it. Being sincere and commenting to acknowledge an achievement for a member is always great and a few words regarding their achievement and a bit of encouragement go a long way
  
• Do not write a blog here at WA just for the sake of writing something to try to get a better ranking. Always write something that can help people in some way or of course to share a success
• When a member asks a question before you answer it please check to see if a correct answer has been given and if it has, then move on to help someone else. I sometimes know answers are given within a second of each other and this happens but it is always good to check before you start typing
• If you don't know what to write, then don't't write anything. Sincerity is felt by each member regarding comments
• Always be considerate of other members. You never know what goes on behind the scenes for each member
• Help when you can and again be genuine

These are just a few of the things I feel passionate about and try very hard to adhere to all of them and more of course.

To the Tech team behind the scenes. You guys/ girls Rock and are always so quick to reply when help is needed and also keep this system running so smoothly, AWESOME!!!

Loes - You blow me away with your generosity, teaching and sharing of gold nuggets for people to use while building their online business :)

In closing

I know this blog is a little long however I truly am grateful for this wonderful opportunity, to everyone here in the community and to technology for growing and giving millions of people a chance to leave the hum drum of working for a BOSS (YUK) and become Entrepreneurs and grow and help more and ore people every day

How INCREDIBLY AWESOME is this place WA You ROCK!!!!
