Hi WA Rock Stars!!!

I hope you are enjoying another productive day building your empires online. :)

Site Content

Not sure if anyone has noticed this but I feel it is important to point out to save members who use Site Content any frustration around indexing.

As you know when a post get indexed the google icon in each post in site content goes colored to let you know you have indexed the particular post.

OK, well I had a few that showed up as not indexed so I went to the Google Search console to do some checking of my own as I had asked for indexing after I had written these posts.

When I did this, Voila!! They were all indexed and yet inside Site Content, it is telling me they are not indexed.

Thought you might like to be aware of this as I was getting a little frustrated wondering why these posts with excellent keywords and over 2000 words weren't indexed and it turns out they are and a few them are ranking really well and site content was giving me the wrong message.

I guess it might time for it to catch up with the heavy work loads it has - Not sure but alls well that ends well.

Enjoy your new week ahead for those of you still on Sunday time. For me it's early Monday evening, 2 posts completed and published and I'm off to cook dinner

Go well everyone and be awesome in the week ahead

Thanks for stopping by

Has this happened to you?

Were you aware of this?

Would love to know it's not only me

Hi Vicki. I worry about several aspects of site content. When I checked out the efficiency and speed of my urls and overall web site, the results came back poor. I re-entered the information only to have somewhat better reports. I then did an independent search outside of WA and the results came out excellent. I have also had issues such as yours centred around indexing. Jim

Hi Jim
Good to visit your site today.
Thanks for sharing this as well, very helpful
Vicki

Site index only picks up indexing in the first 20 pages for the search term used I believe much like rank tracking in Jaaxy. This would explain Google saying yes you are while WA is still trying to find the page.

That makes sense. I see the same thing on some of my articles as well.

Thanks for clarifying Andy- Very helpful
Enjoy your new week ahead
Vicki

Hi Vicki,

Thanks for sharing this information! It happened with one of my posts. It was indexed by Google but Site Content showed it as not indexed. Have a great week! Much success to you!

Kind regards,
Nichola

Vicki

Good to know. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Pamela

How do you go about asking for your blog to be indexed? Silly me, I’ve always just waited.

You can do it by inserting your article url into the top menu of Google Search Console and then press enter. It will then ask you to be indexed.
