Lesson from Great Leaders
Howdy all WA Rock Stars
Saturday in New Zealand and a good time to share what I have learned over the years from some great leaders.
To be the Best
To be the best at what you do, follow and learn from the great leaders by reading their books, studying their sites and if you can afford to doing some of their courses.
I remember back 2000 I did the Dale Carnegie Course as my 1st Personal/Business Development Course and for 16 weeks I literally put everything I had into this course and at the end, I celebrated my achievements.
As the years have gone on, I have continued to learn from people like Jim Rohn(RIP JIM), Jack Canfield, Tony Robbin, Robin Sharma, Joe Vitale, Bob Proctor to name a few and the gold nuggets I found were incredible and so motivating however it takes a little more than this.
You can read all the books, take all the courses etc but unless you are prepared to treat what you are doing as a Business, and continue every day with this mindset to build, you will most likely lose interest or become complacent.
Courage to keep going
When it feels tough, this is when you keep working because if you do, you will breakthrough and the road will become smooth again for a distance, then you will come to another up hill climb and sure enough if you keep working the road will become easier to travel again.
Seth Godin wrote a book called the Dip - a great read, as it really is how growing a business works.
Up and down and Up and down with some smooth parts along the way and as long as you work consistently, you will eventually come to a place where it's lush and peaceful and your life has changed and you are now financially independent doing whatever you like most days, but until that day arrives keep working hard.
I live alone and I thankfully have LauraFuller as my accountability partner here in WA and I also have the ability to push myself along because I want to be able to go do cool things when I am able and have set my goals for 1, 2 and 5 years from now and will keep going not matter what.
I hope you all have the self believe and the courage and work ethic to continue working and building every chance you get and would love to know what motivates you.
A question for you
Does anyone know how to create info graphics like the image below as I am currently working on a course and want to create something special for potential clients to present it professionally.
I would love your help with this please
Here are an image as an example

Great Post Vicki. We all need to have belief in ourselves, and we all need motivation. There certainly are some great motivators in WA, and you're one of them. However, I have no idea about that graphics thing. Jim
Hi Jim and thank you so much for your kindness as always and I hope life is treating you well.
I have seen you in action a lot in the community - so good to see
Go well

Great post!
It is true that we all need a mentor when we want to give the best of us. Success is often done in a team, all by itself it is possible but much more complicated and longer. I am happy to be in WA and follow models like you or Kaju because you are people full of ideas, positive and catchy.
Have a beautiful day!
Ingrid
