How do you get someone to listen to you? Ahhhhhhh!

Hi WA awesome members and builders

Tonight blog is going to be a little different as I am going to try my best to recreate a scene for You to help those of You who find it challenging approaching people offline about WA.

I get this as if people don't understand something and You start going on talking to them about this amazing unbelievable, incredible life changing platform, they are probably going to look at You and go "YEAH right or ah huh or Oh no he/she goes again or ha yeah bro whatever or, it's crap and it's not real or it's probably just another scam.

By now, You are about to hide under your bed and never mention Wealthy Affiliate again to anyone, Am I right? Hmm. OK maybe not that radical but I sure have heard some stories from people and now I'm going to share something that may help. Well Lets hope so.

On September 28, I found out that a friend of mine had experienced a small stroke, a stroke never the less so I rang her to make sure it was OK to go visit and of course it was so off I went

When I arrived, I already knew she would be a little frightened and also a little unwell so I was ready and went in.

There she was just as awesome as always, and she made coffee and shared everything that had happened with me and also said she didn't want to go back to her job in ECE which is Early Childhood as she felt too stressed and over worked with extreme lack of support.

I listened and felt she was making a good decision and then I said " Its really lucky You are so talented and creative because You will still have money coming in from your sales and while I was saying this to her, my mind when " OH MY GOSH!!!!" and I said to my friend ...

CASS-, yes Cass51- I said "Cass, I am a member in this really cool place online and I have built a website- do You want to take a look?" And she did and she loved it and so I said from my heart. "Cass, You could do what I'm doing and share You knowledge and your gift all over the world".

Well her face lit up and next thing You know she and I are searching for domain names and then she asks me to give her my link and she joins for free as we do and Cass is now on the inside with me in WA.

We spent the next couple of hours checking things out, laughing, brainstorming for her and generally sharing a great afternoon and She pepped up which was really wonderful to see

Cass was only a free member for a brief moment and has been premium ever since and has already got 1 website rocking and is building her 2nd one as well.

I am so happy I went to see her that day and look what came out of my visit and when I left my place that day, I had no intention of mentioning WA that's for sure - amazing what we are given and at the right time.

I guess my message tonight it this

The more people You help the more people will connect with You and also use things in ratio

We have 2 Ears and 1 Mouth and should always use them as intended. L0L

Whenever anyone asks You what You do- Tell them You have a website and then stop talking- When they ask what's it about- Say to -"Well You know how You really love....... and name their passion if You can and then say" I write about what I love and I make money" then say nothing and wait

Your friend will start talking and this is when You listen to everything that is said offering comments to encourage this person to share with You so You can offer the best solution and if You can't see that WA would be great for them, say nothing more about WA, however if You can see that they too would be awesome, then share what You do.

You see, it's really great to get referrals but what is the point if they are not suited to doing what we all do. They might join cos they like You, but will they stay- hmm. No, not unless it's fit well with them so don't push your thoughts and wants onto them.

Feed them and listen to them and if it's a good combo then You will have a great friend like I do having Cass here growing her business online and not working for someone else anymore - How cool is that- I am so happy for her and Cass may 2019 be awesome for You in every way
