3 2 1 Record- And Then it Became so Real
Hey everyone and no my recording desk looks nothing like this beauty. :)))
Pushing through
Yesterday I had written a task on my work for the week and this task was to record my 1st ever training video.
Now a lot of you who know me would think, so what, you were an Entertainer and you have recorded music albums and traveled overseas singing to crowds of sometimes over 40,000 people so this should have been a "piece of cake" but oh no.
Back in 2006 when I had Brain surgery, my full time career stopped in its tracks and since then I have taken different paths with my work life and a lot of you know, I'm a success coach and have been for a very long time now and I work with people a lot.
All of this made no difference to my confidence yesterday, when I started creating my slides with my training, knowing when they were complete, it was d-day and I would be sitting in front of my computer speaking to you in my training video.
Cracked it!!!
With only 2 run through s and lots of laughter at myself, I stopped, took a deep breath and thought. What is the best way to approach this?
I said to myself" Just be you, just be yourself Vicki. Just talk to all the people you want to help learn this Success Strategy by speaking from your heart with the knowledge you have.
Then I pushed record and the screen said 3 2 1 and off I went.
I cracked it!!! I felt so pleased when I did it as I have wanted to do this for the past month but didn't write it as a task so didn't get it done until last Sunday evening when I did my weekly tasks and set it in concrete to complete.
The quiet life
these days, I spend a lot of time at home doing my WA work and building my business. I live a very quiet life which I love so much as I spent a lot of years always in the public eye having to be on top of my game 100% and now days, I am answerable to me and my goals and I am my on motivator to achieve whatever I decide is worth achieving.
Having the courage to do this video made me feel so great and I hope my message here today resonates with you.
If you want it, all you do is set your task and when the time comes, push through and do what it is you have set yourself to do and I tell you, it feels awesome and now my next mission is to do a You-Tube Video.
