My website is full of words that have blue double underlines. This takes you to different advertising sites that is not affiliated to my website. http://www.shopfordoggiesonly.

Thank you for all your help. It was an extension that I had to remove.

Sounds like adware
Make sure your malware blockers are running if you have them.
Also, I'd run Malwarebytes and see what it finds.

Try clicking on it and on the bottom of the add see if it says something about games i had that same problem and it was coming from a game virus i cant remember what the website was called but i google it to see how to get rid of it and i think i went to YouTube to see how to get rid of it it was last year so can't remember what program i used to get rid of it good luck

You're website is fine but you've got a problem with your computer. It probably happened when you installed a software program. If you can do a system restore to a date prior to installing the problem software it may fix it.

I'm not seeing what you mean. I see on a post there are some words linking to affiliate sites like amazon and related pet sites. Is this what you mean?

No, it's the words that have double blue lines under them.

I'm not seeing any double blue lines on any of your posts/pages. When you see them, do they appear in your post editor or on the actual finished page?

The only thing I can think of is if you signed up with an advertiser like InfoLinks, Kontera, Text Enhance, etc. When you add them to your site they'll add advertisement links to key words. Kind of like Google Adsense except for words instead of banner ads. Is that a possibility?

Also, if you opted in (accidentally) on one of those link ads on someone elses site, you will see it in your browser in various sites, but is only on your end. If that's the case you should be able to opt out by hovering over the link and clicking opt out (if that's an option).

I'm still not seeing any though on my end :( Wish i could help.

The finished pages and posts.

Does it appear on any other wordpress blog that you go to? Like if you visit someone elses page do you see it as well? If so then you are opted in to contextual ads somehow. That more on your browser and not your actual site, which is why I'm not seeing anything on your site.

I just looked thru your pages and posts also and I don't see any words with blue underlines.

I need assistance in changing my domain name due to legal recourse from eBay. Could you advise what steps I should take to avoid being fined?

First, it is obvious you will have to change domains given this constraint. So, look at variations of your current name and choose/get advice on wordsmithing a better message with a dot com or dot org as a second choice.

I would definitely purchase, preferably a dot com. As quickly is as possible. Just follow the steps here at W.A..... Just go to site rubix. I believe I am giving you good advise, but I am by no means an expert

I believe you will have to purchase a new domain and apply it to your website and discontinue using the other domain.

Curious, can you have more than one website on one domain?

Thank you Marion! This is a timely question I've been meaning to ask. If there is a need to have additional sites (say 2 niches) I had wondered about the cost of registering additional domain names. I have so bookmarked this.

You can have another website on your domain by using a subdomain

Michelle is correct. you can, however, have more than one domain point to a host.

but don't do this for the same blog or else google will think you are making duplicate content and will penalize you.

Hi. No, you should have one website per domain. :)

I had the first domain name and website, but it gave me so many problems, I added a sub-domain with the same website info. Problem is the new website name changed to a1.shopdor

I hope Marion got you covered.

This is the procedure for creating a subdomain

Check with technical support first and then ask the community in the index of questions and at large.

How do I add a Google ad code to my website?

Sorry, I cannot comment.

how do i upload picture of product, price from my amazon affilliate site onto my website, I have windows 10,seems there is a problem.

Veronica, depends on you theme. PJ is correct. However, you can also add it as a text widget in a side column if your theme supports a right or left column. Go the theme, appearance, widget and select a text widget. Enter you ad code and save. Alex

I am too new I don't know. When you know please tell me.

I Veronica.

When you're within WordPress and in the Editor function (about to post a blog article ((post)) or a page) - off to the right is a TEXT tab.

Click that and then, you're in the "code" area.

See attached.

I'm confused. Where do you add your adsense ad? I see the code area but I must not be understanding.

ohhh, Adsense is a wee bit different. You'll want to use a widget or Adsense plugin to help you out there.

Ok. Thanks. I did add the Adsense widget, but am not sure where to go from there.
