I have done the lesson. If got an affiliate program who sent me a link, but I seem not to be able to grab it and post it on my site. Does anybody have any suggestions?

If your unable to view the link there should be many areas where to find it depending on the specific program. Once located, it's just a simple copy and paste.

Let me know if this makes sense

Yes, that makes sense. I've had some problems with copying and pasting though.

What's going on? Are you unable to copy or unable to paste? or both?

I had one that I copied, but it would not paste.

once you copy, try pasting it simply into a notepad so you don't lose it. Once you go to the wordpress page you want to paste it on, copy and paste it from the notepad instead.

When you go to paste after you right click, is "paste" grayed out?

Ya, either that or paste doesn't come up as an option.

Hi Tom, have you tried the keyboard shortcut for paste - ctrl + v?

No, Pete, I will try that. Thanks.

Site Support does not answer questions. When I submit questions to site support, I am just rooted back to ticket submission. What is the problem here ?

You need to choose that the issue is hosting related... that's the only questions they will address. The don't address how to Wordpress as it will direct you back to the community.

How can i contact Wordpress and have them deal with the problem ?

can you ask the question openly in the community, the pen icon top right gives you the opportunity to do that and when you go to publish it it will ask you which classroom, choose wordpress, someone here may answer you - that is how it works for non-hosting issues, and if you don't get the answer ask again until you get your answer

Thank you !

I've not had this problem .. .sorry, ... perhaps try again later, you might also want to close all your open browser windows and relaunch.

Does anyone know why when I get a message from Site Support it just circles me back to the ticket page ?

Normally they answer very quickly. Did you select yes when they ask "is this question related to your website"? If you said no, the question will be asked in the community and not Site Support:)

I did select "Yes". they said they had an answer for me, but I was sent back to the submission page.

Have you checked your private messages? They normally send answers to your PM:)

Can anybody give me easy instructions on how to build a website. Thanks

Sure Godfrey, click on the light blue box up to your left that says Site Rubix Build Your Website Here. Click on Site Builder. Click on "On a free domain". In step 2 type in a domain name for your website. In step 3 enter a title for your website. In step 4 choose and click on a theme for your website and then click on the green box that says “Click Here to Build This Site”

For anything else you’re going to have to get into one of the training courses, either Certification or Boot Camp!

Hope this helps!!!

Thanks Double Tap
