My Referral Goof
Greetings,
So, I wasn't sure how to pose this as a question, so here it goes:
A while back, I was telling a friend about Wealthy Affiliate, and she immediately told me her mom had a website with some affiliate links. I told her I would forward her mom my link. Don't know what happened on my end, but I delayed in sending her my link. As a result, her mom decided to look up Wealthy Affiliate on her own and signed up for the
7-day trial. She liked what she saw, but was a bit unsure about whether to move forward.
The Question: If I were to send her my affiliate link now, and she decided to move forward and become a Premium Member, would I get credit for her as my referral?
Obviously, I wold love to have her as my referral. But the bigger lesson learned here is that I stalled when I should have taken action. I won't rack my brain going over the
"what if's"...that would be it's pointless. But the lesson has been learned:
Whenever possible, do not delay! Destroy procrastination with action!!!

What if she didn’t sign up under no one, then someone else got her and there’s no way she would be reassigned in that case. Look on her profile to see who greeted her, if it’s Kyle you can at least have a chance to beg! Lol

Well...I actually received a Pm from Kyle stating that he already put me as her "parent". So if she should ever decide to go Premium, I would receive the commission! No begging needed, I just took Eric's advice and just asked!

She actually did already filled out her profile, but Kyle sent me a PM to say he moved her as my referral! But I can assure you, I will not let that happen again!
Awww Veronica that is so good to hear and good on Kyle. The girl that I had the referral for seems to have disappeared again. I will need to wait and see what happens. xxx

There is a big lesson here for all of us. I don't think she can reassigned to you as she will already have a sponsor.

Hi Veronica, don't beat yourself up things happen and we learn from them. Don't dwell on it move on.
She already signed up so I doubt you can do as you asked in your question.
It's not sad, but a learning experience that can happen to all of us.
I'm really not losing any sleep over it; I think with just all the excitement with the Black Friday special approaching, it was something that came to mind again.
Trust me, I will NOT repeat that mistake ever!!!

It's probably easiest to ask Kyle. I have a feeling that anyone who comes directly to WA without following a link gets "assigned" to Kyle or Carson.

Yes, as in they get assigned to him automatically, or yes as in he'll arrange for you to get the credit?
It was assigned to Kyle automatically, but he transferred her to me, so I will get the credit and commission!
