Getting Unstuck

Mr. Pencil demands that I use him immediately!!!

Last week was...well...an interesting week...a hectic week... a busy week...a very tiring week...compared to those who are moving, or starting a new job, a battling a health issue of some sort, it was very mild. Nevertheless, it was one that left me mentally and physically drained. I used to think that unless you went through some major earth-shattering battle, you haven't really struggled. But I learned that everyone struggles differently and that every struggle is valid.

So, here I sit, having lost a full week of not adding anything to my site last week! I still can't believe it! If it hadn't been for the 2 WA posts I published I would not have written anything at all!!!

I'll admit it, when the week was nearing it's end, there was that nagging voice,
"Wha??? You ain't gonna write notin'!!!" (The nagging voice refuses to use proper grammar, I think it's part of their contract).

Now what!

So, it's now going on 5:45 pm on a Tuesday, and I still haven't published anything on my site for the week. Interestingly enough, my site health has jumped from 40% last week to 50%! I have my laptop open, notepad and pen ready to be used...but where do I start...

So I decided to write a quick post to get those writing juices flowing and feed off some of the great energy from the WA community.

OK...gotta get to work. Thanks for stopping by...and may the writing force be with you always!

Strive to Thrive,
Veronica

Veronica, this is the perfect post at the perfect time. I am deeply into that 'stuck' space and just by answering your blog I realize that is all that is needed....'do it'....thank you! Will work my way up to idle websites as soon as these monster dust bunnies are annihilated....hahahaha

Well, it seems we've both been "healed", lol. I actually started writing a post last night, but it started to take on a form that was bigger than I had originally anticipated. It's now Wednesday late morning, so I'll be finishing that up today. Who knows...I may even write another!

One main lesson that I'll take away from this experience is that as much as I am able, I just need to write, even if it's just one post.

Good luck in attacking those pesky little dust bunnies, Rosie!

As we hear so often never never never never give up!

Absolutely!!!

You ARE a kind of magic!

Me??? That's too kind!

Hello Miss Veronica!
Yup, last week you didn't write a thing. But that is in the past. This week is brand shiny new. You are off to a good start. Step-by-step, inch-by inch, word-by-word. Pretty soon ,before you know it, you'll have that post written, tweaked, and published!
Kathy

Looking forward to reading your next latest website post!

Thanks, Kathy!

There's a saying: "Inch by inch, it's a cinch. Yard by yard it's too hard." Ever heard that one?

Thanks, Hal. I'm actually working on it now; I came up with an idea to find words ending in "tion" and tie that into my niche. Let's just say it's a lot more involved than I had anticipated.

good work!

Thanks, Karin!

Keep it up dear. You are ON THE WAY!

Thank you, Papa!

Veronica, thank God for the mind and energy of Jesus and thank Him also for the support and the supervision of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for always giving me spiritual nourishment, Nelson.

You're welcome, Veronica.

You are gonna make it girl! :)

You always give me encouragement, Reanna. Thank you!

Hi Veronica,
I know what you have and are going thru. I am caring for my mother-in-law even though we have in home hospice care. They come check her out. They make sure she is clean. But when they leave the rest is up to me. I have been guilty of not being on WA working on my courses. I tell myself when my husband gets home I'll go and work on it but by then I am exhausted. I'm disabled my self. I try not to let that bring me down and usually I'm good, but now taking care of an elderly who has Alzheimer's it has slowed me very much so.
I wish you the best. You'll be back on track in no time. that's what I keep reminding myself.

Doris.

Hello Doris,
I understand what you are going through. Three years ago, i was caring for my mother-in-law, who had lung cancer. we had hospice care coming in as well. I am also handicapped, making caring for her that much more difficult. Hospice was wonderful, but when they were gone, it was all on me. I know how exhausted you are, and I understand the emotional and physical drain. It's okay not have the time, right now, for your WA stuff. I know. You are doing a wonderful thing, caring for her. Right now, that is where your focus is, and that is okay because that's where it needs to be for this season of your life. You will get back on track when the time is right. I wish you the best!
Kathy

Oh, my!!! I appreciate what you shared, Doris. My issue last week wasn't even close to what you're experiencing, and it was just for one week.

When my mother wasn't in the hospital or rehab, I was the main caretaker for her. I can't even imagine doing that and going through the certification course. I'm certain many of us could learn a lot from you in terms of just pushing through, even when it's inconvenient.

Take care of yourself, Doris.

I know this was directed to Doris, but the sentiment you shared is really quite beautiful, Kathy.

It might be spring, Veronica. Look at my last post...lol:)

That was adorable, Vera!

Last week was just busy, busy, busy...but now, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of writing again.

I just created an outline for one post; I think I may jump on Site Rubix and comment on a few posts for additional motivation.
