The Bearded Master Strikes Again!!!

Today was the first meeting of Bo Tipton's Master Mind Group. As the snow storm raged outside for many of us on the East coast, our hearts were warmed with a sense of gratitude to have an opportunity to take our online business to the next level.

I can't even begin to tell you all that Bo has give us in the last few days (my goodness...has it just been a few days?). This is not a social media platform, but rather, a place to get additional training that enhances and is to be used in conjunction with what we have learned and continue to learn on this incredible platform at Wealthy Affiliate.

Just as the Certification and Bootcamp have tasks to compete, were are given assignments, so the first from this webinar is write a summary of what we learned from today's webinar.

Instead of going through a list of points, I'm just going to focus on one: USP

No...not UPS, but USP: Unique Selling Point

Even before our first webinar, we were given an assignment (in case you haven't noticed already, Bo keeps us busy...very busy); we were to watch and give a review of Kyle's first webinar.

Although all of us watched the exact same webinar, we each came back with a different review; even if some of the same key points were made, it was shared in a different perspective. This was a great exercise to see what we may be up against with our competition is our respective niche's

In developing our content, we each have a "voice" that we can develop and share with others. This is less about making Grandpa Google happy and more about connecting with people. Or, another way of saying it, building relationships.

But how do we go about developing and building those relationships? By adding value to what we're writing. This is in alignment with what Kyle mentioned on his webinar when discussing the use of affiliates: If what we're promoting doesn't match with what people just read from your content, they will leave, and there goes your traffic, down another road to find the next best exit...

But adding value is not just about "fluffing" up your post, it's about connecting to the benefit to the person. How is this done? Easily:

- State the problem: not just any problem, THEIR problem.
- State the Solution: not just any solution, YOUR solution.
- Tell them the benefit for them.
- Tell them what you want them to do *(what CTA will you use).

But all this is useless, unless we recognize and utilize one key element: Consistency.

I believe this Master Mind Group really epitomizes what Wealthy Affiliate is all about: paying it forward.
