Feeling Very Grateful and Thankful Today

Well to be honest it`s a mix of emotions running through me right now. I just put my 5 year old on the yellow bus... Yes, I can`t believe it, my girl is starting Kindergarten.

In fact, I`ve been a member of WA longer than I have had her lol.

Although I feel sad that we are going into this new era of her starting school, I feel incredible grateful and thankful for all the time we have spend together. The quality time we have had is priceless.

Thanks to WA and my determination, it made it possible for me to stay home, create unforgettable memories with my family, while building a business at the same time.

For me this is THE perfect fit, I get to be a full time mom along with building my business. A business that has taken me on a very exciting journey. Things I could only dream of 6 years ago is now my reality.

Now, when both my kids are older and in school, I know exactly what to do with my time... continue to build MY business.

It`s funny how WA has been there along with my kids growing...

When my 5 year old talks about Beverley and I said, -honey do we know anybody named Beverley? -Yes mom, the lady on your computer that we talk to :)

or

When my 10 year old said the other day:

-Mom can you help me make that Lego video for MY Indiana Jones website...

A great feeling to be able to show your kids to follow your heart and dream. Life is too short, work with something that makes you happy, something that you love!

Just feeling very very grateful today...

Well, off to school (signed up to be the Kindergarten lunch helper) can`t let go... just yet...

Wow! Nice to hear that we've got a 10 yr old WA indirect recruit. You are steering the youngster in the right direction.
Well done Victoria.

:) we do, thank you!

Great post Vicky! - Robert

Thanks Robert!

I will have be going through that in a years time from now when my little princess goes to school for the first time. Nia is almost 4 years old now. I have been blessed to have been home with her and my 2 boys for over a year now. I need to get where you are Vicky so that I can too stay home and be part of all my three kids lives. Too much to do at home with both my boys playing rep hockey and my little girl starting to skate and dance. My goal is too make this all possible by working on my online business to get to where I can support my family financially. Currently my wife is working and I have been a stay at home Dad and I'm loving it.

Thanks for the post Vicky!

DES

That is great Des! Staying home with the kids in combination with working on your own biz is fantastic, you get best of both worlds!
So you get to have her home one more year, enjoy it!! It goes too fast! Where are you guys at? I was looking into hockey for my son who is 10 but too far of a drive...

Let me know if you need any help,
Veronica

Lovely post Veronica! Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to read it.

Great Blog veronica, it don't get any greater than that!

Thank you!!

Chucks - I must be all emotional today 'cause I'm wiping a few tears. We raise our 2 granddaughters and put them in their first pageant yesterday (only had a son so had to wait 30 years...). They both placed and were just adorable. And you're right --- it's hard to let go - I still drop them off and pick them up from school every day! God Bless! ~Cathy

Aww, I bet those girls were beautiful!!
I am lucky I got one boy and one girl :)
Just getting ready to go out and wait for the bus to come back...

PS I don't help at lunch thats what tax dollars are for

Well good thing some of us do like to help at lunch otherwise some of those little ones wouldn`t get the lid of the sandwich boxes.

Ok fine you can help :)

:)

:)

Oh I love that yellow bus...can't wait to see it each day!

Bless your heart. Yes, I know the feeling as one watches them take that huge step up onto the bus. I went throught it five times beginning some 25 years ago and it's burned in my memory. So glad your business is doing well. :-)

5 times wow, I bet it hurts just as much each time.
Thank you!

I still tear up at the memory now that they are all grown up and I have to take two steps to their one step :-)

I bet :)

Aww how bittersweet, congrats to your little girl on starting kindergarten. My son is 2, I hope I can have a similar story to share when he is older! I've only been here at WA for a few months, so far he's not a fan of me spending time on the computer, I know someday he will appreciate it ;)

Very bittersweet :) Aww 2, I miss that age, they are so fun!! Wait til he wants his own website...
