Hey Verna,

What exactly is it that you need help with? Perhaps there's another avenue to get you the help you seek.

Hi Trish.
Is it okay if I PM you later? But I would like to know how to get a PM through to Kyle an Carson.

Here's Kyle's: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/message/kyle then click on Report Content... and fill in your question > scroll down and write your message > then click the Send button.

It's basically the same as before, accept now the details field doesn't appear until you type in your question.

And yes, Verna you can ALWAYS DM me as I'm here to help any time I can.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Nope :) The same as the others have stated.

You can now get rolling with your hubs :)
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hubs#training

Yes, there are now two new runs of training.

If you choose "promote WA" within the Hub builder, it will give you the new Bootcamp training. If you choose own niche, it will give you the new Niche training.

Thanks Kyle for that info.

OEC is now sunset. Replaced with the 8 Core Training in the Hubs WA Affiliate Bootcamp is replaced. You must replace the old training links with the new ones on your website.

Thank you so much Brenda. When I recently came back to WA, I printed the revised training that was done while I was away and now I need to get the revision of the revision!! LOL! However, I'm glad WA is making sure all the training stays updated because that is VERY important!

Right. New information is better. Old info is no longer helpful since that training is outdated. The new training is better in my opinion. More simple and easy to understand. I am glad you understand that.

I've been dealing with support for the last four days and can't seem to get the Site Kit reset for the new domain name. I had support move a domain last year and didn't encoun

If it were me i always delete and reinstall the plugin. That is any move i have hosting out of WA

You can send me a PM, but if you are having issues with a MOVE I actually cannot do anything on my end, that is a SiteSupport issue here. If you have moved your website to a new domain, then it is going to be a new property that you will need to set-up within Google Console, as well as within Analytics.

It may be easiest to delete Site Kit plugiun, and then to reinstall it and go through the set-up process. All of your data will be new data that you will be creating.

Let us know if you have any further issues though.

Thanks for responding, Kyle. I am at my wits' end! When a site is moved to the new domain, shouldn't it show the new domain name when I log into my website, or should the old domain name show up on both websites when I log in? The instructions that I printed out from the WP Back Office recommend resetting the Site Kit BEFORE migrating to the new domain, but Support moved the domain first. I will try to delete the SiteKit plugin and then reinstall it. When I delete the Site Kit will that means that I also have to reinstall the Google Console as well?

You can if you click the bottom two to the left.

Have you tried to deactivate, delete, reinstall, or activate again?

This is the notification I received regarding AIOSEO:

"Universal Analytics V3 Deprecation Notice

You have been using the AIOSEO Google Analytics V3 (Universal Ana

You definitely do not need MonsterInsights or upgrade your AIOSEO plugin.

WA used to recommend AIO SEO however due to too many promotions from AIO they changed their recommendation to SEO Framework.

Monsterinsights nor any other paid SEO is not needed they just want you to pay more for their additional services.

In Fact, you don't really need an SEO plugin probably more so now than before as Google wants to see you write content that is helpful and beneficial for your readera first and foremost not for SEO purposes.

If you want to use an SEO plugin regardless of which one use it as a guide and not as a factual requirement.

SEO Plugins as just tools and no need to focus too much on what they state just use the basics of SEO like your main keyword in the title, in the first paragraph and once or twice more in the content and that's it.

Parthab has written much about SEO and keyword and more but too many to list here.

He knows what he is talking about and been in the marketing world longer than WA.

Here is his user profile name and you can check out many of his blogs which will be helpful to you and many others who may read this.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/parthab

Thank you for the reference Parthab looks like a good place to learn

You are welcome and yes you can learn a lot and a lot more than you expect from Partha a true marketer with a Brilliant mind. Cheeky but brilliant

I just went through this. I didn't hear about a change until afterwards. They changed the recommendation to SEO framework. I made the change smoothly from AIOSEO.
In addition I am using Codevyne SEO Meta Keyword along with SEO framework. So far so good. I do wish there would have been a warning also

I would still backup before making changes

To be honest im not sure who WA is recommending.

Here is a question someone asked with Kyle's response to this about SEO Plugins

Getting Started

Hello Friends,

I am finally ready to start creating videos for my website and possibly YouTube. I want to get some recommendations regarding video equipment for beginner

Hey Verna,

Depending on your budget, you could start with the camera in your cell phone.

This would enable you to do videos with a selfie stick and/or a tripod with a tripod mount or clamp.

If you do not have a reliable cell phone camera, you could simply use your webcam and OBS Studio... which is FREE... and many professional vloggers (content creators who use video to communicate with their audience) use.

If you have a bigger budget, you could add in a green screen in which you can get in many different sizes, depending on your requirements.

Hope you find this helpful.

Also here That's for Premium. The first one is for Premium Plus + - My apologies.

Hello WA Community!

I am making my return back to WA after a lengthy absence. Life events and health derailed me, but things are getting better now. I have much catc

The theme is just a lens that your content is viewed through. It can be changed at any time without affecting content. Go to Appearance >> Themes.

Thanks Phil. Going to attempt to do this some time today.

You have some excellent advice and guidance here, which should help guide you down the proper path…let us know if you have any further questions.

-Mike

Choosing a theme is one of the most difficult things to do as a newbie. It's not technically difficult but lots of free themes like GeneratePress have serious limitations in the free versions.
One great theme for newbies is Kadence it launches superfast and is relatively easy to use. The paid version has more features, but for newbies you can use this theme for your first year

Thanks Catherine. I would like to find a theme for promoting affiliate products that will be able to grow with me. I really don't want to have to change the theme again. Are there any free themes that can keep up with growth of affiliate marketing products? I wanted to try the GeneratePress theme since it seems to be highly recommended. This is the first time hearing that the free version has a lot of restrictions! Can you clue me in with what kind of restrictions GeneratePress has. Thanks for this information.

You can try it but you cant customize a lot of things. Icant remember what exactly I used it for ten years but I haveused Kadence foe the last five years or so. I had the paid version og Generatepress my beef was it was so slow to load

Hey Verna,

The following tutorial may offer you help in changing your theme: Depending on the theme you select or move from (Example: leaving Thrives themes was LOTS of work!), it could take a lot of focus, yes.

But... if the theme you're using at present is pretty basic and the one you choose to move to is also basic, it could be as simple as a click.

You may find many of your themes no longer required. Only making the change will help you determine the necessity.

What you could do is have a copy of your website moved (ask SiteSupport) to the SiteRubix server where you can work with it offline.

This way, if you make a boo-boo... you won't need to panic, as no one else will see it.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks Trish for your help. I am rethinking changing my theme if I could come up with a nice way to integrate pages for solely promoting affiliate products. What type of theme have you found that works well?

The themes I have found that work well for me are those the others have already mentioned to you, which is why I did not state them.

They are GeneratePress Premium and Kadence.

I love Kadence for the simplicity and ease of creating an entire website and/or a simple landing page, funnel, squeeze page, or whatever you want to call it.

Thanks, Trish. I will look at Kadence, but I think I would like to keep the theme I have been using for affiliate marketing. Now that I'm back, I want to start promoting affiliate products. Not sure how to start setting it up, I have to review how to use the "Block" style because I think I can set the product images up using that. I thought some people just set up specific pages to promote the affiliate products. Have to do some training search to see if I can find more information on how to do that. Let me know if you know about any training out there for that. Thanks again for your help.

Hey Verna,

It might be a better idea to go back to the start and go through the training BEFORE you begin making ANY changes to your website.

Reason I'm suggesting that is that there have been so many changes on the internet that you do not want to miss out on some vital new step you might overlook if you do not redo the training.

It is up to you as to where you actually start again... but that is where I highly recommend that you focus starting, in order to save you time and frustrations later on.

Thanks Trish. That is what I have been doing since I came back. I have also been catching up on all the latest updates Kyle and Carson have made here at WA. I haven't started doing anything yet to my site. But, as I am reviewing the lessons, I am making a list of anything that comes to my mind that I need to do to my site to help improve it. And, if something I come across sparks a question, I check in with the community and make note of the responses that I need to keep in mind. There is much catching up before I start doing anything to my site. I started a side hustle while I was gone and plan to build a second website for that. So, I think I may start on the second site using the training I did when I first joined WA. That way I can kill two birds with one stone!

Verna

Smart cookie! Good stuff... keep up the great work and you'll have a site that ROCKs real soon. I'm betting on it!

If you are unhappy doing it, you may also call upon site support.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

To change your theme, here is what to do.

You may go to Appearance > Themes and add new.

Input what you are looking for, install, and activate.

Your content will be left intact; you may lose out on CSS styles and social media icons if, however, with a bit of tweaking, you are done.

We always recommend leaving a backup theme; you may do so with the Twenty TwentyThree.

I hope this helps

Thanks Abbie! Appreciate your response.

Awesomely welcome :)
