Two things to eliminate in life
It's a very simple, very clear thought. But do we understand it in its depth? Let's look at the past, actually at us thinking about the past .
Here's a good proverb I recollected. Imagine the devil comes to you and says: 'It's not a big deal, I will only put a hook on the wall in your house, just a small hook, on just one wall in your house".The best thing to do would be to say- "No, I have nothing to do with you. Go away". But you don't want to resist, you think: "Just a small hook, on just one wall in my house"...
You let some bad thought in. Just a small, not too harmful thought. What happens next? The devil comes, he doesn't ask for permission- now he has a hook in your house.He hangs a bag. Another thought settles in your brain. Then he puts a piece of bad meat there and it smells disgusting and the situation is becoming really bad. Flies start flying all over your house spreading infection, the bad smell is all over the place.Thus your thoughts are becoming really poisonous and you can't stop them- now they govern you and eat you away.
And everything started with a small hook, with a small,almost harmless thought.

When the past calls, don't answer.
You will be depressed living in the past. You will be anxious living in the future. Live in the present.
Now people...
If we say we are absolutely free from people's opinions on us and people's influences, we decieve ourselves. Nobody is,I think, unless they are a religious hermit or a monk. Maybe there are some happy individuals who elaborared this wonderful attitude of ignorance. I don't know...I think to this or that degree we all are speechless and helpless in view of some things, and very vulnerable, too.
There are special psychological techniques which can help us deal with rude and negative people . In one of my posts to come I might share them.Better yet, leave it out to God.
And whatever happens , don't let negative people steal your happiness .Too big a gift for them would it be.

These are such insightful thoughts, I really like them all!! Lately, when I feel like the world is getting on my nerves, I will do some Yoga deep breathing, it helps to calm me down and centralize my thoughts. It puts me in a better place.
