It's full moon.

Huge, grotesque, appealing,

A little fright’ning moon disk in the sky.

I don’t understand my feelings.

I don’t know what I want, and why

My thoughts are scattered, feelings veiled,

And I can hardly sleep at night.

Can be it that you feel the same,

Or does moon influence just women’s mind ?...

I know it does influence my cat

who wants to go out much more often

and beats on front door at the keys

as if he tells me "let me out".

I think it influences nightingales

who sing like crazy all night through

without stopping.

Enchanting combo-

Nightingales and moon.

Can be it men aren't sensitive to it?

It's of course a poetic form, and it's said poets, musicians, artists are more subject to the influence of the moon.

But there's no doubt the moon influences everything and everybody. The seas, the plants, animals, men, women, children.

Plants grow better if you plant them at the growing moon, Hair grows better if you have a haircut at the growing moon.

A research was done at the University of Basel. When volunteers in their study, both old and young, stayed in the lab during some days around the full moon, they spent five minutes longer trying to fall asleep than those who stayed in the lab during other times of the lunar month. They slept 20 minutes shorter, they felt less rested, and slept 30 per cent less deeply than those who visited the lab during other times. They didn't see the Moon, and the researchers didn't tell them about the moon phase at the time.
