Overcoming Life's Challenges
My journey for the past six months has become more challenging as I deal with my own health in addition to my family members.
On Saturday, August 22, 2015 my nephew Roger Stewart (47) years, suffered a massive stroke and passed away in Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday, August 27, 2015. His mother, residing in the United States is unable to travel to the Caribbean for his burial as she too is dealing with medical issues and must stay put.
My spouse has mobility issues with multiple sclerosis.Another sister who resides in London England will be undergoing heart surgery within the next 10 days and has no relatives there, I am the closest if need be to travel.
Meanwhile, I am heading to the Caribbean (Trinidad & Tobago) on Wednesday morning for the funeral on Thursday morning and hope to return August 12.
I simply want to share my challenges with my WA community as I have been inactive with my site and the community for the last while due to circumstances beyond my control.
I will be back on track as soon as the dust settles.Right now life is just happening so I must keep things in perspective and accept the things I cannot change, knowing that God Almighty will not give me more than I can bear.

As the poem Footprints in the Sand states, ""My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
The WA community will continue to be here, and will support you through your undertakings. If you need anything, just let us know.
I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. Please do the best you can to take care of yourself in between everyone else. We will all be thinking of you and will be here when you are able to return.
