recently, I posted an article in which I provide general info about several products (clothing brands in this case), but without giving any

Always try to write with a purpose. So if you're writing about various products in one article, that pretty much sounds like a best of or top list type of post. You don't necessarily have to recommend one or have a personal opinion. However it's more useful to the user if when you list the various products you provide the pros and cons that you researched and then you can let the user decide what product works for them without you saying x product is the best out of all of them.

Yes, I have seen such articles including pros and cos, only I was not sure whether to implement them in mine as well. I will heed your advice and use them in my current articles and future ones!
