Hi I wrote you earlier regarding not being able to receive my emails after having transferred my DNS. Is there anything I am supposed to do from my end?

i got you email...hope your day is going well.

Is your site up and running, if not the transfer is not complete, have you sent a ticket to site support?

Why am I not receiving my email?

Hi I transferred my DNS to WA but now I am not receiving my emails, I contacted my previous server and they stated I had to do a change mail exchange through you and needed to

You would need to creat either an email account or forwarder with your domain:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email

If you wanted to keep the place that is currently handling your email, you need to contact SiteSupport to have them update the MX record for you.

I have been telling the tech support about MX destination of the longest time! Message doesn't seems to get thru...very frustrating indeed. You seems to know what you are talking about...I have a big decision to think of, perhaps you could give me some pointers.

I've only pointed the DNS to WA and created so many problems, do you think it's still a wise choice to transfer the domain totally to WA considering I'm having a tough time with tech support? I'm really not a tech person so I do rely on tech support to a great extend. What do you think?

Who do you use for email now?

I take it that you don't want to set up the same email account on Wealthy Affiliate?

@ThomasPaul I'm currently with JustHost. I certainly do not want same email account in different hosting providers, it's kind of like living in 2 different rooms with the same furnitures in the same house. Just adds up the maintenance.

Do you think it's worth moving the hosting to WA from JustHost? Technically JustHost is more expensive because Whois masking is paid separately, same goes for spam mail protection and SEO tools, it kinda adds up really...

The quick fix to getting your email working again is just to create the same email account on WA using SiteEmail. It sounds like you are just spinning your wheels with SiteSupport. It sounds like they might not want to create an MX record for you or their system isn't currently setup to handle it.

If you still want access to your emails on the JustHost account you should be able to setup Gmail or another email client to access those emails even though your DNS is pointed to WA(assuming that it still is.) However, this still leaves the issue of email not being able to be delivered or sent from your domain due to the MX records.

As I mentioned in my first paragraph, the easiest route would be to set up the same domain email account with SiteEmail. If you've connected your email client to JustHost you will have backed up that email.

You can then create another email account within your email client and connect it to your SiteEmail account. You then could copy and paste the emails within your email client from the JustHost account to the SiteEmail account.

WA's domain email system has been one of the least polished items of WA for a long time, it's getting better though. Either Kyle or Carson(can't remember who) mentioned in a conversation string that they will be implementing a feature, so members will be able to create MX records themselves.

I definitely think it's worth moving your hosting to WA. I actually just moved all of my websites to WA from HostGator just a few weeks ago. Over the years they've greatly improved their hosting platform to where I'm willing to host my sites here again. You'll save money by not having to pay for hosting and you'll be able to use the SiteComment feature.

I have the same problem now, did you manage to fix the issue?

You can refer the matter to site support, if they cannot help they will point you in the right direction. Good luck.
