There was a few problems and some people's websites disappeared from site manager contact support if your still having problems

You must have installed a plugin which is causing the issue. Just deactivate the plugin and you won't have a problem logging in.

Hi Marion,
Thanks for replying. I did install akismet because it said to in three training even though it wasn't in the 4 they had preexisting installed. I did uninstall it but the problem persists! Any other suggestions?

1. Go through all your plugins and deactivate them.
2. Check if the problem is fixed.
3. Reactivate one plugin and check.
4. Reactivate another plugin and check.
5. Repeat step 4 until you find out which plugin is causing the issue.
6. Deactivate the rogue plugin and uninstall.

Let me know how you get on.

You installed Jetpack, didn't you?
It's because of the human recogniser.
In order to take that out you have to deactivate one of the plugins on the big list.
[Jetpack -> Settings -> PROTECT]

The plugin Protect is the one that is supposed to secure your website of brute force attacks. I don't thing it might be a problem for starting websites, so just take deactivate it for the moment :-]

Hope it solves your problem!!
Should you need anything more, leave a comment at my profile

Hi Juan thanks for taking a moment to help me out.
So I Just need to deactivate Jetpack?
Sweet. Ok, I'll try that and let you know if that works.
Thanks again,
Valeri

That totally worked Juan, you're the best! I am now following you, please feel free to follow me too If you like.
May all your dreams come true,
Valeri

If you want to install jetpack back, you can try just uninstalling one of its subplugins (Jetpack has many subplugins included. You can see them all on "JETPACK" --> "SETTINGS").
The one that gives the problem is "PROTECT". You could have Jetpack installed with every subplugin you need but the "PROTECT" one.
(Just in case you liked Jetpack. There's no need to uninstall it completely)
Best of luck here!
Cheers, Juan
