We send people to Hubs now, as that is where you will be able to get the most current 'core' training. We are going to be phasing out the OEC and old Bootcamp training in the coming month, we are just waiting on the final release of the last series in the new core training.

I want to talk about my Wealthy Affiliate promotions and the lack of upgrades from referrals to "paying customers"
Let's jump into some numbers....sounds like fun, woopee.
I am currently getting 1 to 2 referrals a week, most of which come from direct promotions into various online platforms and groups. ( I have only been seriously promoting for the last 3-4 months)
For every 75 clicks I get about 1 referral. From clicks to referrals, my stats work out to about 12-13% on average.
And I have about 35 referrals, out of which I would have expected at least 1 to open their wallets.
I have had no upgrades from my referrals and want to know what Im doing wrong. I have the response letters set up automatically for when anyone joins and they are no different to most others, so feel like Im not stuffing up there. .
So has anyone got any ideas as to why the "upgrade gods" are not smiling down on me?
The responses I got were along the line that beca Of the training upgrades with the focus on AI, the automatic responses I send along with my advice on training do not marry up with Kyle’s. So I am trying to find out what Kyle sends to the new members when they first join. Thus, I can put together an auto response that will tie into Kyles “ letter”. I have also asked for Kyles reply and will get back to you when I get something.
Steve
Thanks for your response Steve. I can understand the reasoning about moving new referrals to a Hub, but in the meantime new referrals are not receiving welcome messages as per previous ones.
Here's hoping this issue is solved soon.
My apologies this message to you is not the best. I'm sending it from my phone as well as being very weary!
Not a good mix!!
Val
Your custom message campaign wouldn’t affect Kyle’s or Carson’s messaging as it’s separate. Is it possible in your custom messaging that you accidentally selected “Private Message” as the delivery method for these starter referrals instead of “Profile”? Thats a common mistake.
If none of this is what’s happening just send over your message directly to Kyle or Carson and ask. 😎👍🏼
I wondered the same thing, Valerie.
Especially since our personal campaign welcome no longer exists. Referrals are brought to the main WA homepage.

I have a problem saving links to content I wish to refer to at later date.
In the past I have used Excel but I find the version of Excel not as user friendly as in the past.
Dropbox is a cloud storage service that allows users to store and sync files across multiple devices. Users can access their files on other devices using the Dropbox app or website.
Dropbox also offers productivity tools that allow users to create and share download links, and collaborate with others.

Dropbox is simply remote storage that you can make available across multiple devices. However , storing locally on your laptop in a Text File, Word Doc or Excel Spreadsheet shouldn't be a problem as the amount of storage required would be trivial.
Thanks for your help, Phil. I will stay with the resources I have. Maybe Word Doc rather than Excel will do the job.
I use Excel as part of Office 365 and find it excellent. What aspects are you having issues with?
For many years I used Google and Excel worked well on that. I used it frequently in my secretarial business. No problems!
However, when the time arrived for a new laptop there was the change to Microsoft Edge which I have never come to terms with.
Excel functions okay but it's slow, the layout is small - no doubt I could expand that with a little patience!
And, worst of all the laptop is slow to act. It could take up to five minutes to open in the mornings, or whenever. A few weeks ago I installed a VPN programme which has made a difference to the speed. Long may it last!!
I am going to have a cleanup of files, try Excel again, or use Word. In fact I do have some links saved in Word as well as Notepad.
Thanks for your interest, Phil.
Much appreciated!
Hi Valerie…whenever I have links I want to go back to in the future, I just make folders in my bookmark and add them there for easy reference. Then when I’m done with whatever I wanted to revisit I can just delete the link.
Susan
Hi Susan, thanks very much for your help. Ashamadly, until receiving your message, I confess that I've never stopped to identify what a bookmark online is!!
Anyway, I've checked that out now and it looks good to me.
Many thanks :)
No worries, Valerie. Dropbox is best for remote files/uploading/sharing etc. But I've found that bookmarking under different folders is a solution that makes it easy to go back to a place you liked. Like you, I always have many sites/pages I discover that need revisiting over time. 😉
I do not use DropBox to save links. I save all of my links using a notepad on my desktop MacBook Pro. DropBox is a cloud system that is excellent for keeping documents where you can access them, so I would use it if I were you. Go for it, Valerie. Test it out and see if you like it.
You can decide what is best. Phil does have a point. You can even use Google Docs and save it the same way as Google Drive. The point is to keep it simple and less complicated for you. You have enough to deal with.

GeneratePress is customizable to use single column, with one, two or no sidebars.
On the page editor, you can use the default template or the theme layout itself.
The combination of both will give you the look you want.

Hi Valerie! A virtual private network will encrypt your personal data and mask your IP. You can also avoid some blocked or firewalled sites. It also helps hide your browsing from being tracked on your ISP. It is a good measure for an extra layer of security and privacy.

Virtual Private Network is a service that creates a secure, encrypted connection between your device and a server operated by the VPN service.
Privacy protection

Remote access
Do you need it?
Are you a privacy-conscious user?
Are you on Public Wi-Fi?
Are you restricted where you are to access content?
Do you need to access sensitive data? Perhaps.
You want a VPN service provider with a firm privacy policy, good security, a no-logs policy, and positive user reviews.
It's also worth checking if a VPN is legal where you are.
Thanks for your response, Abie.
Yes, I consider I do need protection.
I am very much a privacy-conscious user and I am on Public Wi-Fi.
I very much doubt there would be a legal problem where I am.
Hi Valerie:)
If I’m correct, it stands for “Virtual Private Network.” I use this whenever I am on one of my banking sites, as an extra layer of protection. I don’t think you have to use, but I have felt a little safer since I started using it. Hope this helps:)

Suzi
Hi Suzi,
Thanks very much for your response regarding VPN. It's interesting to learn where you use VPN. No doubt that means having it installed on more than one site which I expect would be quite costly.
When searching online I saw at least one free of cost VPN and wondered if it would satisfactory.
Blessings.

I have Norton/LifeLock installed, but I don’t think it’s too extremely pricey. I think it’s definitely worth the peace of mind:) If you found a secure VPN for free, that would be great!
That's great, Suzi. I will have a look at Norton/LifeLock. Definitely peace of mind is of utmost importance :)
Valerie,
I'm just popping in to make sure you understand that a VPN is installed on your computer, or tablet, or phone, or all of them.
Once it is installed on your devices you do not pay to have it installed on individual sites - it monitors and blocks unwanted snooping, etc. You pay one fee that includes all of your devices for the year. I used ExpressVPN for several years but I am dropping them. I think paid versions are becoming redundant.
As far as I know, at least a couple of browsers have a completely free VPN on the actual browser that can be turned on in settings. The two browsers that come to mind are Opera and Brave. Try free before you sign on to a paid version.
Here's another tip for security, if you must do something online like banking, or business stuff - turn off the Wi-Fi and just use your cellular network. Cellular networks are separate from the Internet and much more secure. So in a pinch, it's a good alternative.
Thanks very much for your advice, Wendy.
Unfortunately, I subscribed to VPN before receiving your message. The only free offer was for sixty days trial. I didn't bother with that and went with a twelve month subscription. I do have the opportunity of discontinuing that within thirty days. I'll see how it goes for the next two weeks. As I'm not skilled in the simpliest of technology, it
