What You Need to Know About Google Adwords
This post is written for members who are new to Google Adwords, or haven’t yet done Kyle’s training on Google Adwords.
At a very late hour last night I answered a member’s question about linking to Adwords.
It was a brief answer which I said I would follow up today. However, as it was a Question and not a Post I cannot find it. So rather than waste more valuable time, this post contains my answer.
Google Adwords, sometimes referred to as PPC, are ads we can place on our websites to promote our business. When you do a Google search for a particular keyword, not only do results of organic searches appear on Page 1 of Google, also appearing are Adwords ads.
For instance, when I do a Google search for what are the best dog biscuits, the results on Page 1 are 11 organic searches, and above the 11 searches are 4 Adwords ads. When searching other keywords we may see Adwords Ads on the right-hand side of the page as well as those above the organic searches.
So how did those results get there? They appeared because they were paid for by people promoting their business.
Some years ago, before finding WA, one method I used to promote a business was Google Adwords. I didn’t know anything about Adwords other than what I learned from Google information.
Were my results good? Hmm… they certainly could have been a lot better.
In the WA Bootcamp Kyle provides comprehensive training about Google Adwords. He teaches us far beyond what I learned from Google.
Therefore, please DO NOT attempt to use Google Adwords until you complete Kyle’s training. Those Ads cost money and you need to be educated before you attempt to use them in your business.
Enjoy your wonderful life. It is precious!Recent Comments

That is so true Michael.
Thanks very much for leaving your comment. Always good to hear from you :)
Eric, the best guidance is in the WA Bootcamp. I recommend you follow that training. Even if you are not following the entire Bootcamp, you can still do the Adwords training.
This is the reason why I stopped my Ads with Adwords knowing that I have to pay for it. Now I'm satisfied for the meantime to have Adsense only.
A very wise move Jimmy. Adwords can be expensive without a good return on investment.
Thank you for your comment :)
That's true Valerie. I thought it's but a right step to do everything recommended or suggested but when I noticed that there are options and preferences of an amount to be paid for ads. I canceled by Ads.
I think that was a good move Jimmy. We need to look after the dollars and cents as we build our business.
