Receiving a Super Surprise from Payoneer Today
This morning when browsing through emails received overnight, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Suddenly I saw a message from Payoneer.
This message was advice of a new payment. My first online payment from Amazon.
In accordance with Amazon’s payment process, this would have been by cheque, as it was only this month I changed the method of payment in my account.
It is due to attentiveness of an Amazon representative recognizing my dilemma with receiving international checks, this deposit to Payoneer occurred.
It took two attempts to get the response I was seeking from Amazon in regard to changing the method of payment.
Without going into details, the Amazon representative who made this possible, at the very least, should receive a Thank-You message from me. But, how I can make that happen I do not know.
Am I excited? Yes, I am. This may appear strange, but it was quite some battle to get this process working,
Also, compare this transaction to an amount currently in my NZ bank account waiting to be cleared. The amount is the value of a cheque sent from Amazon in December, which did not reach me. Amazon reissued the cheque. I deposited this cheque 1 month ago. It will be mid-April before the funds are cleared, with no guarantee to that clearance.
Naturally, I am pleased about commissions earned, but my greatest pleasure at present is I no longer need to deal with the long and arduous process of manual international payments.
One last step required to complete the transaction is to request the transfer of funds from Payoneer.
I will make that request today, and expect it will happen smoothly.
