My Exciting Discovery of Google's Activity
Hi Folks,
I could be the last one to have made this exciting discovery, due to recently being rather inactive in WA.
However, I thought to share the great news that Google is again recognizing the ranking of my posts.
On my twelve-year-old website, many posts have continued over several years to be ranked on Page 1 in Google, some in Position 1 of Page 1.
As it was with other WA members, I couldn't understand the reason for the absence of Google ranking of posts on my websites. However, I did not lose faith in Google, as I said in my blog post of February 18th.
My reason for staying positive was that All Google rankings had disappeared. During that period when concern was expressed about the lack of Google rankings, I would occasionally check 'Tracked Rankings' in Jaaxy, and not one post had a Google ranking!
I do not believe Google would abandon the millions of followers they have, at least without notifying us of their intention!. There had to be good times ahead!
No doubt, you have discovered that Google is again indexing and ranking your posts.

Hi - I suspect it was a problem with Jaaxy, not with your ranking. Many people have said that Jaaxy was showing no Google results, but when they checked themselves directly in Google, they were still on page 1.

Thank you, Valerie, for sharing about Google ranking your posts again. That's very good news.
I think from time to time Google crawl on the pages of websites. I did get a heads up from google when checking the performance of my website that I have some posts that used small fonts and will be very hard to read if viewed on cell phones. It will affect traffic to my website. So I started checking each of my posts and Google was correct! My older posts have smaller fonts. I have about 8 more posts to check that have smaller fonts and other things that are obvious to correct.

It is very interesting to learn that the size of fonts has an effect on the ability to view content on cell phones. I would not have considered that but it certainly makes sense. I don't think I have many small fonts on my posts but, having learned of your knowledge gained from Google, from now on I will be alert to that fact.

I think because cell phones screen are small compared to laptop. Prints will appear smaller on cell phones. What I did was increase the size to #20.
