Jaaxy Review Update Now Complete – Was the Procedure Correct?

Hi Folks,

At long last I have completed the update of my Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool review. The procedure was long and laborious, and had been on my To-Do List for longer than reasonable. Some years back I read Brian Tracy’s ‘Eat that Frog’ but, with respect to this review, I chose to ignore his great advice.

Anyway, the review is finished and posted to Google+, Facebook, Twitter and even Pinterest.

However, the question is – Was the procedure correct?

Over several months I read varying advice from WA members about changing the date of published content on websites. Some said – change the date, others said it shows dishonesty to readers if the original published date is changed.

Comments Received long ago:

To add to the confusion is the list of Comments received long before this update of the review. I published the original review in 2015.

Action Taken:

Because I’ve heard more than once Jay say in his WAbinars, update the date of publish, I chose to follow his advice. This is how it appears on my website:

Your Thoughts:

I do not look forward to reverting how I’ve dealt with this review update but, for future reference, I would appreciate any feedback from members.

Is there a better or more responsible way to deal with publishing content updates on our websites, whether they are Reviews, Pages or Posts?

Thank you for reading this blog.

Enjoy your wonderful life. It is precious!

All information gets old and stale so updating in my mind is a good thing for a reader so they know it is recent information. My niche is in the medical arena and keeping things current is critical.

I think showing the updated date is an honest portrayal of your experience. We can't go wrong listening to Jay.

Thank you Debbie. I appreciate your response :)

I totally agree with showing dates (when first published and Updated). It makes me more likely to read both and see how much you have grown.

Thank you Roger. I greatly appreciate your response.

Hi Valerie, updating old content including the publication date is recommended. It pumps in new blood and life. Jay recommends it in his webinars especially when you want to renew old content.

Thanks for your response, Paul.

Yes, Jay does recommend the publication update but a few months ago discussions in WA rather confused the issue.

I appreciate your input :)

I like it Valerie Thanks for sharing. Jay has a training that might answer your question. Cheers

Thanks Glenys for your response.
Much appreciated.

Hi Elaine,

Thanks so much for your response. That's very encouraging :)

Hey Valerie,
I personally would have done it just the same as you did. I like this!!!
