How Do I Automatically Email an eBook

Hi Dear WA Friends

I should know the answer to my question. But the fact is that I don't!

Some years ago I used Aweber. When a visitor to my site subscribed to my email list they were automatically sent an e-Book.

I stopped doing this a long time ago.

I want to start this again with another website, but I won't be using Aweber. Although they are my preference, I find their monthly rate too high at present.

Also, I'm not sure that Aweber's automation performed the duty of sending the eBook, or whether it was another feature on my website.

So, my question is - how can an eBook be automatically sent when someone subscribes to my emails?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Enjoy your wonderful life. It is precious!

Just send them an email with a link to your ebook page where they can download it.

Thanks very much Peter for your response. Much appreciated :)

There are ways to do it without an autoresponder. Some good ones have been mentioned here. Most forms give you an option of where to send them after they fill the form out. All you have to do is upload the eBook to your website and send them to the URL when they fill out the form.

Several people mentioned MailChimp and although it is not my main autoresponder and I have used it for years. If you do decide to use it PM one of the people who recommended it for there referral link and you and them both get $30 credit when you signup. Seems like a nice think to do.

Thanks very much Bo for your comment and advice.

I am going to look further at Mailchimp's free version. I doubt the free version would have a $30 credit but I will investigate.

Thanks again :)

hi Valerie .. i wish if i can help

That is a lovely message Islam. Receiving your message is a help because I know that you care.

You take care, and I look forward to seeing you again soon :)

Hi Valerie

I use mailchimp. They're just as good as aweber and you can use them for free if you're sending up to 2000 emails. After that you have a monthly fee.

Hi Rosemary. Thanks very much for this information. I am pleased to know that you use Mailchimp. That gives me confidence to take the time to learn about it. I greatly appreciate your help :)

Valerie
I just sent you a private mail as I could not attach the original link
Mailchimp is free and youtube has good tutorials with it. Mail Chimp I think up to 2000 emails are free.

Thank you very much Sylvia for your PM and for this comment.
It was good to learn more about Mailchimp. I've received emails sent with Mailchimp but have never taken a lot of notice of it.

you are welcome.

Thanks very much Louisa for your response.

Just to letting you know that link is no longer working. It's not a major for me, but in the event of sharing it again I thought it best to let you know.

I used the Sumo Contact Form for it! I simply added the URL of the eBook in the Autoresponse Email and it works perfectly! When they click on it, the pdf opens and they can download it! Normally this Autoresponse email is only used for saying thank you, I guess... but I thought this would be a great idea! :D So, I am in completely control of it (I don't have another Autoresponder)...

Thanks very much Gerlinde for your help. I installed the Sumo plugin a few months ago but didn't do anything with it. I'll certainly see if I can get it to work. You've given me the confidence to learn more about the features of this plugin.

Hi Valerie,
I am quite pleased to make a suggestion to someone who has helped me a lot in my short blogging career. I have just finished a squeeze page with Pagewiz. You can make one only before having to pay, so I will not be wanting to subscribe. See what you think.
Yours,
Tracy

Hi Tracy
Thanks very much for your suggestion. I've had a look at Pagewiz and although it appears to be great, I wouldn't go with it either. It is too expensive for my needs at present.
I very much appreciate your help.
Best wishes.
Valerie
