As It Is Said - Never Give Up!

I haven't been around this area for quite some time. April was the last time I appeared in this part of WA. However, I've been working away behind the scenes. A more appropriate statement could be procrastination has been prominent, which is something I do not recommend.
My reason for the title Never Give Up is due to a degree of unexpected success, not huge success accompanied by commissions and other beautiful things, but a pleasing result with one of my websites.
I have two websites. One I started in 2010, the other in 2015. Both websites had been profitable but my failing to keep up to the moment with search engine updates, etc; both websites were lagging.
What was I to do?
Move on to a new site or persevere with the challenge of bringing older sites back to life?
After giving lengthy thought to revive at least one site, I decided to go with that rather than starting a new website. I chose to work with my affiliate marketing website. A vast niche, as we all know.
All the history of success had faded from this site, and it has been like starting again. Updating content and adding new content is and will be ongoing!
To date, I have added just two new posts. One of those posts has received two comments, for which I am grateful.
Curiosity Got the Better of Me
So, a visit to Jaaxy despite early days just had to occur. I honestly did not expect to see ranking results. To my surprise, one new post ranked on Page 1 of Google in Position 2.
Two days later, a second surprise was that post had moved up to Position 1 on Page 1 of Google.
How could that be with only two new posts published after a gap of about ten months?
Now, this is not anything to write about for experienced affiliate marketers who are more than familiar with Google Page 1 ranking.
My reason for publishing this success is to help newer WA members who may be wondering when Google will recognize their content.
I assure you, with perseverance and following the Wealthy Affiliate training provided by Kyle, Jay and other WA members, your website will be successful. Keep on keeping on!

So true Valerie, I think one of the strengths of WA, is the sharing of good news and results, it keeps the energy flowing. The time spent inside the castle walls doesn't matter, its what we do as we travel the wider internet that counts.
Going well, I too am reflecting on creating a new, blog, it is a process working through it.

I agree Alex. Spreading encouraging things is so much better than gloom. We deal with that and get over it!
I think creating a new blog is good and I hope it goes well. Almost a year ago I purchased a new domain and it sits there waiting for action which probably won't happen!
