Amazon Associates Disclaimer
This post is in response to recent enquiries about the Amazon affiliate disclaimer.
The following paragraph is the disclaimer:
Mywebsite.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Please note: If you are an affiliate of the Amazon Associates program you are required by Amazon to display the Disclaimer in a prominent place on every page or post of your website.
If your website has a sidebar which is the same on every page or post, the Disclaimer can be entered there.
The Disclaimer can be entered into the footer of your website.
Wherever the Disclaimer is entered it must be clearly visible to visitors on your website.

Yup Valerie, I've seen this for a year or two but still haven't seen one website that honors this requirement. I don't think Amazon is checkin' too close... (-;

There are many websites that display the Disclaimer, mine for one!

Thank you Valerie. There are so many things to keep track of when running a website. This is very important. Trying to remember everything is giving me a bit of a headache.
I wish there was an easy to read master checklist somewhere for putting up an affiliate website - it would make this business a lot easier.
