I thought this would be a question for support but apparently someone can help here :)

Basically I'm getting email alerts when one of my followers ask

click on your small photo up to the right and then choose account settings. In account settings there is Email notification settings. There you can choose which kind of email you want to get. Good luck

It gives an unexpected error and has done since yesterday. Anyone else had this problem?

I'm interested in the answer. I don't get an error but if I want to change my theme, I can't navigate to all the choices. I just see two or three options. I'm missing something simple I'm sure. Thanks for any direction and thanks for the original question. Debbie

Hi there

I'm making my way thorough the training slowly and still have tons to learn but when I look at some of the sites that are available here I think to myself: thes

Put my head down and get to work

Still trying to close some of the lessons, many are not easy to do.
So, I am skipping around to get things done. What else can I do? Mary

Your best bet really is to complete those assigned tasks before moving forward. Because the more you skip, the less prepared you are to complete the next tasks, and so on. Then you end up over your head in a lesson and not understanding why. Always take the time to complete the tasks, even the ones asking you to jump in on discussions. These are all important. Don't worry. You'll get there!

Thanks for the good advice. Do you know of anyone who could help me upload my photo. A friend tried to help but it did not work.
So, if you know of anyone who could help me, I would appreciate this.

Thanks,

Mary

Hello Vaipae!

I was/still am in the same spot as you. Remember whoever you look at or speak to, we're all dealing with something in life. The secret is to know where to step first, and what to learn first. I'd invite you to look into Stephen Coveys time management quadrants! I've read his 7 habits book and this was a HUGE takeaway from it, it has helped, and continues to help me utilize my time, and keeps me directed!

Thank you guys! There has been a lot of positivity here which is what I was hoping for, not just for me but for the other people who feel the same. We are ALL doing something to help ourselves here which is a LOT more than a lot of other people are doing and of course I have to realise that the majority of the people who have astonishing websites are mostly either long term members or have experience in web design before they join!

I AM learning as I go, in fact I was so pleased to simply put a header image on my site! Made me feel better immediately :)

If anyone fancies having a look feel free :)

and thank you everyone for your support

I feel the same way. Take encouragement from all the comments posted here. I have found the WA community to be very helpful. Let's just keep taking those steps. Debbie

There was a WA conference call within the last week that tapped into this subject. You might want to check out the recent videos for some additional encouragement.

Yes, this takes time and like others have said, it's a learning process and take pride in what you've learned to date.

Mark your progress on a calendar or notebook and each month check out how far you've come and what you've done. It's YOUR progress that matters at YOUR rate of speed.

And then, be grateful that you have a source and place to come to for questions/answers. lol I lost thousands because I didn't have that before now.

Best,
B

Hi there, yes it is true that one admires the fabulous websites here at WA. And thank goodness that they are here for all of us to see. Don't forget that there was a time when those people also knew absolute nothing and had to learn from scratch. I think it is important to establish your purpose in life and what is it that you want to do with that purpose. We have all come this far so that says we as newcomers have a need and one of the best ways to fulfil that need is to do it via the internet(online).
So it is with everything worthwhile in life in that what are we prepared to do about it, for our dream to become reality?

Indeed it is a steep learning curve (for me anyway) and demands dedicated hard work, enthusiasm and tenacity.
With a training platform like WA. it's possible indeed.

Just my view on how to go about and approach it.

Take care and see you on the other side.

Johan.

Hi Paul
To answer your question there is a cliche - "One step at the time"
But it is really true. In order to get results we just need to push a little harder. Like in American football :)
Just like you I joined this WA community 2 years ago, but didn't do anything. Was jumping from one shiny thing to another in hopes to make quick money.
Didn't work much :(
But along the way I learned a few things.
Now I can compare WA to lots of other places.
Here is like an online business university.
Stick to it.
Ask questions.
Be involved.
One step at the time.
You will succeed.

Cheers.

Keep going =) If you learn one thing every day you are a mile ahead of the people who are sitting on their couches staring at the t.v. I understand your frustration because I am also not seeing much return on investment thus far. My advice to you is just continue writing and you'll begin to find what flows more naturally for you. Instead of looking at others as "better" than you, just think about how you can learn from those people you consider competition. Since I am not an established online marketer like many of the individuals here, perhaps my site will be motivation for you so that you realize you probably aren't that far behind me. Find something you enjoy talking about and your content will flow naturally and people will enjoy reading it if there is truly passion behind your interest. Goodluck to you! my site is createhealthybalance.com

Hey Len

I've had a look at your site and I love its positivity! It seriously made me smile that there are still loads of people like you in this mad world striving to help people feel better about themselves. I like to think my site will do something similar and maybe our sites might interlink with each other in some ways :) May I PM you some time?

thank you again I'm really grateful :)
