How can I find a niche?

Hi! All WA friends and followers,

Supporting and helping each other has been a unique feature of WA community which I have cherished and like to participate, but still intimidated and reluctant to do so due to innate digital blindness despite being in WA Premium for just over 4 months.

Today, I received a PM from a newbie stating, "Hi Dear Urolin, as you know i am learning dailly & progressing little by Iittle, just i got a little bit lost how to choose the right Niche for me so i want your help pls , Thanks in Advance".

While feeling still digitally inadequate, my sense of duty makes me obliged to move my hands to type a response as follows:

Hi! XXX,

Feeling a little lost is nothing unusual, but should not be at no return
to the right course to move on for e-marketing success.

If identifying a right niche is your difficulty, do not worry about it
since everyone has his/her passion which can benefit others' life and what s/he is good at and eager to share it with people.

In short, look into what can benefit yourself and others and what you
have been good at; that is your niche, which no one else can do for you.

For the time being, think of and focus on "niche" and add any one what may come up in your mind to form a list of your niches. Then mull over those coming into your list,
from which you pick the best of the best as your niche to build your
site and move on. Besides, start site-building as soon as reaching a 70%
of comfort, and do not let the pursuit for perfection to paralyze your
decision.

I hope that is what I feel most reasonable to pick a niche.

Cheers, and all the best to your success,

James

That is my response, but I still like to seek more ideas from others so to perfect the mission to answer this question.

Yet, if you like what I stated, click on LIKE, and add more if you like to supplement and complement further so to further glorify the beauty of WA warm community.

Hello James, I think your suggestion is a positive one. The only other thing I might have added is once you have the list is to use the keyword tool or Jaaxy to see which ones might work.

A post on states was posted to offend
(It should read not to offend)

Hi Gerard

Just a quick hint....
We all sometimes have finger trouble! ;-) At the right hand side of your comment, is a small grey arrow pointing downward, if you click on that, then on Edit, you can easily change your post.

That little arrow works overtime on some of my comments, since English is my 2nd language and when I get on a roll, my fingers don't always keep up... Only after I replied and I re-read it (or worse, when I read it after somebody has responded!) I realize that there's a spelling or grammar mistake.

Hope this helps!

LOL! :-)

My problem is i come on this site to learn bit more then always gravitate to chat and learn less than i should

I am sorry was placed there to offend
If you think about the statement is true
We all have skills things we have picked up over years things we know what can help
And if we can help solve a problem you have a very stong niche or sub niche because we are all looking to get our problems solved usually via the internet

I have found this post
https://ilearnedtolove.com/identifying-and-creating-your-niche

I hope it can help.

That is great, and thank you for adding the link.

Keep in touch,

James

solving peoples problems a niche that is global

Hi! Gerard,
Thank you for adding more power of mutual supporting.

Much appreciated,

James

To begin, a niche is a French word for a recess in a wall to place an object for viewing.
In the online marketing world, it is a segment of the market that you target and monetize.
Begin by simply thinking about things that you like and would also want to write about.
Things or a subject that you like and could help people with.
You have to begin somewhere. Do not begin at "perfection".
Do not make it overly complicated.
Once you have something that you like and can write about, write a post on it.
Write a few posts within a few niches.
Do not overthink this.
Hope this helps a bit.

Hi! Paul,
Thank you for further asserting the key points for niche search and action taking.

Much appreciated,

James

It pleases me to be of assistance.
Thank you for the opportunity, James.

I agree with Bill, James. People can overthink it when the answer could be right in front of them.

Loes shared a great post of Kyle's 100 Niche Idea, so that would be a great place to start.

Another idea would be to have them list things that they enjoy doing. I think the word "expert" can intimidate some people; one thing Kyle says is that there's no need to feel intimidated, because all the experts started out as newbies, just like many on this platform.

If they have a full-time job, have them think about what they enjoy doing in their spare time. Encourage them not to think too much about it. Perhaps you can give them an exercise to see what comes to mind within one minute.

I remember being stuck on this for several days, but as I continued to go through the Certification, it just struck me! It was something I was doing for years and even had friends pay me, but I was so focused on that word "expert", it was something I overlooked.

Hope this helps, James.

Hi! Veronica,

Thank you for asserting more key ingredients of successful niche search, which will definitely help many others especially the newbies.

Much appreciated,

James

Thank you too. I was in the situation. I had been stuck with my very first niche for my very first website, and blog. I was stubborn, and seeked the 'perfection'. When I searched around on WA trainings, blogs about "niche", I laned on this discussion. Reading experienced members answers did help me, gave me more courage to go with my own idea. Our community is the best!!!

I'm so glad you found this helpful, Thong.

One of the things that I love about this platform is that when you ask a question, you'll receive such a great assortment of answers.

Sometimes I'll hesitate from asking the community something, mainly because I think I should already know the answer. But inevitably, when I ask, there will always be one or two "seasoned" members who will thank me for asking the question, because they learned something new as well.

No matter how "old" or "young" we are to Wealthy Affiliate, we're all learning together, Thong.

People tend to over think choosing a link. If you like a subject and have some expertise that is your niche. When you start try to focus as narrowly as you can on a specific sub-niche.

Hi! Bill, A great assertion to the point.

Much appreciated,

James

Hi! Loes,
Indeed, you have always come at right time to hand warm helping hands.

Much appreciated,

James
