Do you carry on regardless?
I hope you sometimes amaze yourself...
There are days when I impress myself. Take this week for instance.
I have been building a new Steampunk website (the link will be under my profile when I have finished it) and it has been a nightmare. First off I needed to close down my old site and divert traffic to my new site. What a learning curve!
There are many processes involved. Apart from when posts are transferred I also have to make sure the media is moved over to my new site (yes there are plugins but they have their issues too).
You do lose traffic even though I have been on page one for over 4 years.
Then there is the SSL certificate to install. On WA it is done effortlessly. Doing it through your CPanel is a whole different ballgame because even when you've done everything correctly that doesn't mean you get a green padlock. There are other things you have to do in WordPress to make sure your site is secure.
Then you have to go to posts and make sure that all your post are SSL protected. That means checking all your links go to HTTPS sites including affiliate links. Pictures also - it never ends.
But finally I have a green padlock!
Then there is my running. 7 kilometres.
We have had a deluge of rain over the last month but luckily I have been able to run between the squalls.
This week was not so good because Monday I couldn't run and then Tuesday morning was a write off. But I managed to fit a run in Tuesday evening and then again Wednesday evening.
Now this may seem extreme but I also squeezed a run in on Thursday morning.
Do you know why? Well let me tell you.
Towards the end of my Tuesday run I actually had a boost of energy, I don't know where it came from and I had the thought to run around twice. Crazy right?
The same thing happened towards the end of my run on Wednesday, but I resisted going around twice (I know you are thinking that I should have just collapsed, but seriously I felt more energised). I again resisted the urge to go around twice.
But come Thursday morning I woke up at 3.15am and debated whether to run or was I being a bit too cavalier. So for the next 1.25 hours I had a stiff talk to myself and decided that if I was not going to go back to sleep that I would run.
Man, I was really tired when I did that run. But do it I did and I live to tell the tale.
So my point?
Carry on regardless.

our journey was never promised as a smooth hiway...we just stay the course regardless of the quality of the road...because the road will always surprise you...
Many don't realize we don't have feel our best to get things done. But that's when it's most important when we feel blah and we get it done regardless. Stay consistent.
Keep pounding the pavement, success is imminent.
I just keep on going, post after post. I do have days, everything seems to go wrong, not being productive at all. And I have days I surprise myself. I keep those days in memory:)
That is my whole life lately. Carry on regardless...
regardless of sickness,
regardless of stress,
regardless of fear,
regardless of uncertainty,
regardless of not knowing if we can buy this property,
regardless of needing to suddenly move our of our house,
regardless of a lack of time,

You are right Michel. Life is repleted with good things and blessings. They abound everywhere.
If ever there are challenges the good will prevail and the blessings continue to befall and the more we are stronger to go forward.

Not feeling down (or maybe just partially). I had a good idea for a blog; started it last night; got overwhelmed so I thought I would finish today. Nope! I can't carry on this way...something's gotta give...
I had an idea for a WA Post "My Goodbye"; no...that's not happening, but I did entertain the thought. It's funny how we can inspire, uplight and encourage others, but those same words escape us as we beat ourselves up and second guess ourselves.
You stay upbeat and remember that as long as you are beating a path to successes door you are going to make it.

Thank you Magnificent Michael. As you know my energy level ha been -0 lately. But I am carrying on regardless. I even watched Isabella from 11am to 11pm on Thursday. I also managed a post on my site and 2 blogs on here. So thank you for encouraging us all to carry on regardless. :)
