Micheal - I'm sorry to say that I have fallen behind. I have had a few personal setbacks. Rest assured I'm refocused and back on track. I've got a 3000 word post queued up and a few others on the way.
Time waits for no one, not even me, lol ! Time for another post: Challenge: Week 36 -posting Michael
It's that time of the week again to sharpen your wit and your pencil: Challenge: Week 37 - posting Cheers, Michael
I really can't believe Michael that we are at week 35 of the year already, scary stuff and only 16 weeks till the man in red and white comes yet again. Did Veronica ever get her DNA results, did it all work out well in the end lol. xxx
I never did believe Santa could do that to Mrs. Claus! Of course you can never tell. Look at Bill Cosby. :(
So you can breathe a sigh of relief then, never did think it could be santa that was her dad Michael lol. xxx
That's the thing Jean, you never know what people can be like, although I don't think Santa would ever do that either plus he doesn't have the time lol. xxx
Yes, Cheryl. Keeping busy keeps you out of trouble. That's also why he is so jolly. Busy hands, happy heart. ❤️
Definitely Jean, he is probably perfecting his magic for when he is Santa, which won't be too long either. Scary isn't it. xxx
I don't know about scary. Just hard to believe. This year flew by. :) Oh wait...maybe it is scary. When Christmas comes...so does my birthday. That's scary!! Lol.
It really has been a quick year Jean, I can't believe how quick it's went. When is your birthday, I have mine on the 3rd November. xxx
A very very very nice one though Jean. At least it wasn't christmas day. My friend had her son on Christmas day, he was due on the 9th December and was born on the 25th. xxx
Thank you Cheryl. You are so sweet. Oh my. He was really late. I was born on butchering day. Most inconvenient. Lol. It's the pits having a birthday near Christmas. Most people forget it (that's ok). But the ones who remember usually say "One of those Christmas gifts is your birthday present." I'm not sure I ever got a birthday present that wasn't wrapped in Christmas paper. :)
You are welcome Jean. He was very late, they were going to start my friends labour off on the 16th, then they changed it to the 19th and finally they did it on the 23rd and he was born the early hours of Christmas morning.
It was funny as there were four of us all pregnant at the same time and I was due twins on the 30th January, and the other 3 were all in December and I was the one worrying that the twins would be born at Christmas but they were 9 weeks early so instead of being last to be born they were first and beat everyone else lol.
Did you ever find that people gave you just the one gift that was for both your birthday and Christmas. I can imagine people not bothering to wrap them in separate paper but that wasn't fair on you poor thing. xxx
You have twins? I have twin great grandchildren. They are 13 months old. I'll send picture below.
Yes I think that has happened that someone got me one gift for both. I suppose there was a time it bothered me; but now I just think it's funny. :)
Yes, I've got twin boys and they are now 19, will be twenty at the end of November. Because they were 9 weeks early, they were tiny. Gavin was 3lb 13oz and Euan was 3lb 7.5 oz, to look at them now you would never have guessed they were so small.
Your great grandchildren are gorgeous Jean, I used to love mine when they were small but they grow up so quickly.
I can imagine it would bother you when you were younger as it would feel like you didn't have a separate day for your birthday with it being boxing day.
Below is a picture of Gavin (redhead), Euan, Hayley and my hubby Davie. xxxx
Aaaahhh. Nice picture. What a nice family you have. :)
This is the great granddaughter I take care of a couple days a week. Bella is 1 day younger than the twins. She seems older though. She's bigger and seems to do everything ahead of the twins. She is such a joy.
Thank you Jean, yes they have all turned out polite and well mannered.
Isabella is such a wee sweetheart, you must love looking after her. That's amazing there is only 1 day between them. xxx

A thought Michael to upgrade the challenge. Create a visual map of the Bay route and mark challenge points along it to complete this series eventually like a board game!
your route with something like this Michael! http://www.rabinkyart.com/Illustrations/Maps_CityGo_America.html

Thanks Michael; but I feel like I am dragging myself along lately. Maybe the antibiotic will help. I did manage to get one post done, though.
Grange Encampment and Fair - My Walking Vacation
Cheer: Week 35! Week 35! You came this far and you're still alive! So write 'em up, wrap 'em up and turn the tide! We'll all go far with Michael as our guide! Yay team!!
All those who have stayed have GRIT!! Keep up the good work!
Jeannie
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well Jeannie. I love all your wee chants, I think they keep Michael going too. xxx
When I was sick I just wanted to escape the sickness. George the Giant is sort of a takeoff of Jack in the Bean stalk; only instead of his castle being in the sky, his castle is under the ground. He is always hungry and considers human beings tiny little delicacies. When Michael's soap box had a hole in it we became concerned about falling through and dropping in on the hungry giant unexpectedly. Later we named him George. It's all a continuing joke that we get a lot of mileage out of. Right Michael?
I'm not counting on that. I'm counting on the new boards on your soap box holding. I know you are a good carpenter. :)
Maybe he prefers males to females Jean, so if he got Michael first you would hopefully be saved or you could make a run for it while George was having Michael. xxxx

Lol Jean, it really won't be that long, or is it the thought of Michael being Santa that you don't want to think about? xxxx
No. Michael makes a very good Santa, I'm sure. It is all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I'm not ready for it all. :(
Neither am I Jean and I have 5 birthdays in November starting with my 50th on the 3rd. Michael does make a good Santa, do you think he has a naughty and nice list lol? xxxx
I would make sure I am tethered to a tree to save you, Jeannie. George will not have you on my watch!
My son's birthday is the 24th of this month. October is pretty much birthday free; but my daughter and 2 of her girl's birthdays are in November. That isn't as bad as having 5 birthdays in one month though. Oh my.
I'm not sure if Michael keeps a naughty and nice list or not. Which would we be on...I wonder. Lol.
Isn't the grape juice still underneath? I forgot to look when I borrowed it today for my latest blog on here. I wasn't thirsty at the time.
Thank you, Michael; but remember a very large tree is the size of a match stick to George and he's not above enjoying 2 delacies in one day. Hopefully the boards will hold. :)
I'll make a Steampunk raygun, that should blind him for a few seconds while we make good our escape if the worst should come to the worst.
Thanks Michael. You are sweet too. Maybe that's why George wants to eat us. Sweet little delicacies that we are. Lol.
Hmmm. So that's where it went. It probably seemed like only a shot glass or communion cup to George. Maybe we should slip something in to the next bottle and give George a nice long nap.
Sorry Michael, I am seeing words that aren't even there lol, I read potion as position. I do not know how I did that lol. Xxx
Whoa!! That would be right side, left side, right side, left side...all night long. The only relief is the 3 or more trips to the bathroom. Lol.
Lol, sorry about that Jean, must have been the excitement of going into work lol. I really have no idea how I saw a word that wasn't even there. Shows you that you should read things properly before you comment lol. xxx
You are right about George not doing anything wrong , YET. And we are trying to make sure it stays that way. I can't afford to get eaten just yet. Bella needs me to take care of her a couple days a week. And I have to start getting her ready to accompany Michael on his rounds on December 25. Last year she beat him out as the cutest Santa Claus. :)

Hi Michael
Hope you had a good week.
Mine went a bit south. Being sick and having to work is no fun.
I wasn't able to produce any content this week because I am concentrating on getting my first referral to go premium. This has been my biggest challenge since coming here to WA and I fee like a little school boy again that can't get his maths sum correct and the teacher won't let me go home till I do. lol
So I wanted to put all my efforts into learning and actually getting that first premium.
123 referrals and 0 premiums but I'm still full of hope! ^^,
Will probably sacrifice the weekend again to catch up on some writing.
Best regards,
Kamil
Good luck with getting someone to go Premium. I know that they have to be a certain kind of individual, not the usual kind (wishful thinkers)
I hear you on being sick and working...and not writing a new post. Check, check and check for me!
