Hi Michael,

I'm 12 articles behind, which means I'll need to write a minimum of 2 articles per week to catch up, something I'm committed to doing.

It's great to be back. Hope you're doing well :-)

I didn't write anything yet for this week, but joined Instagram with three different accounts- all for different websites and such. I have been busy there boosting my presence. I am seeing big jumps in my Unique clicks here at WA with one referral this week. Hopefully I can add some new content this week.

I have started a few posts by doing keyword research and picking some titles but no posts yet this week :( I am absolutely SWAMPED at work...swamped makes me think of the hurricane which I spent all weekend watching on the TV Weather Channel and CNN. I feel bad for the Caribbean. The satellite images of the islands are amazing. Before...green. After...brown. All the vegetation on the islands is gone! Utter destruction. The Florida Keys are mostly wiped out as well, it was the largest evacuation in U.S. history and 6 million people in the U.S. are without power...which is the least of the worries when you are also out of food and water like the Keys and the Caribbean.

Hi Michael

Hope you had a good week.

Mine went a bit south. Being sick and having to work is no fun.

I wasn't able to produce any content this week because I am concentrating on getting my first referral to go premium. This has been my biggest challenge since coming here to WA and I fee like a little school boy again that can't get his maths sum correct and the teacher won't let me go home till I do. lol

So I wanted to put all my efforts into learning and actually getting that first premium.

123 referrals and 0 premiums but I'm still full of hope! ^^,

Will probably sacrifice the weekend again to catch up on some writing.

Best regards,
Kamil

I really can't believe Michael that we are at week 35 of the year already, scary stuff and only 16 weeks till the man in red and white comes yet again. Did Veronica ever get her DNA results, did it all work out well in the end lol. xxx

Yes, it is rather scary, Cheryl.

No DNA results are forthcoming, it was all smoke.

I never did believe Santa could do that to Mrs. Claus! Of course you can never tell. Look at Bill Cosby. :(
Reply

Don't even put Santa into the same category. He would never harm anyone.

Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Mine is the 26th of December. I was a late Christmas present. :)
Reply

A very very very nice one though Jean. At least it wasn't christmas day. My friend had her son on Christmas day, he was due on the 9th December and was born on the 25th. xxx
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Thank you Cheryl. You are so sweet. Oh my. He was really late. I was born on butchering day. Most inconvenient. Lol. It's the pits having a birthday near Christmas. Most people forget it (that's ok). But the ones who remember usually say "One of those Christmas gifts is your birthday present." I'm not sure I ever got a birthday present that wasn't wrapped in Christmas paper. :)
Reply
Chezbrown Premium
You are welcome Jean. He was very late, they were going to start my friends labour off on the 16th, then they changed it to the 19th and finally they did it on the 23rd and he was born the early hours of Christmas morning.

It was funny as there were four of us all pregnant at the same time and I was due twins on the 30th January, and the other 3 were all in December and I was the one worrying that the twins would be born at Christmas but they were 9 weeks early so instead of being last to be born they were first and beat everyone else lol.

Did you ever find that people gave you just the one gift that was for both your birthday and Christmas. I can imagine people not bothering to wrap them in separate paper but that wasn't fair on you poor thing. xxx
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
You have twins? I have twin great grandchildren. They are 13 months old. I'll send picture below.
Yes I think that has happened that someone got me one gift for both. I suppose there was a time it bothered me; but now I just think it's funny. :)
Reply
Chezbrown Premium
Yes, I've got twin boys and they are now 19, will be twenty at the end of November. Because they were 9 weeks early, they were tiny. Gavin was 3lb 13oz and Euan was 3lb 7.5 oz, to look at them now you would never have guessed they were so small.

Your great grandchildren are gorgeous Jean, I used to love mine when they were small but they grow up so quickly.

I can imagine it would bother you when you were younger as it would feel like you didn't have a separate day for your birthday with it being boxing day.

Below is a picture of Gavin (redhead), Euan, Hayley and my hubby Davie. xxxx
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Aaaahhh. Nice picture. What a nice family you have. :)

This is the great granddaughter I take care of a couple days a week. Bella is 1 day younger than the twins. She seems older though. She's bigger and seems to do everything ahead of the twins. She is such a joy.

Reply
Chezbrown Premium
Ahhhh I remember now, he looks after them doesn't he so no one can steal them lol. xxxx
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
When I was sick I just wanted to escape the sickness. George the Giant is sort of a takeoff of Jack in the Bean stalk; only instead of his castle being in the sky, his castle is under the ground. He is always hungry and considers human beings tiny little delicacies. When Michael's soap box had a hole in it we became concerned about falling through and dropping in on the hungry giant unexpectedly. Later we named him George. It's all a continuing joke that we get a lot of mileage out of. Right Michael?
Reply
Chezbrown Premium
Poor you Jean, I'm sure that Michael wouldn't let George get you lol. Xxx
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
I'm not counting on that. I'm counting on the new boards on your soap box holding. I know you are a good carpenter. :)
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
If Michael tried to save me, George would have two delicacies instead of one. Lol.
Reply
Chezbrown Premium
Maybe he prefers males to females Jean, so if he got Michael first you would hopefully be saved or you could make a run for it while George was having Michael. xxxx

Reply

No. Michael makes a very good Santa, I'm sure. It is all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I'm not ready for it all. :(
Reply

My son's birthday is the 24th of this month. October is pretty much birthday free; but my daughter and 2 of her girl's birthdays are in November. That isn't as bad as having 5 birthdays in one month though. Oh my.

I'm not sure if Michael keeps a naughty and nice list or not. Which would we be on...I wonder. Lol.
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Isn't the grape juice still underneath? I forgot to look when I borrowed it today for my latest blog on here. I wasn't thirsty at the time.
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
It will stand up to a hurricane...especially if Michael nailed it on. :)
Reply
Ultimateless Premium
We'll need to replace it. It keeps George in a better mood too.
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Thank you, Michael; but remember a very large tree is the size of a match stick to George and he's not above enjoying 2 delacies in one day. Hopefully the boards will hold. :)

Thanks Michael. You are sweet too. Maybe that's why George wants to eat us. Sweet little delicacies that we are. Lol.
Reply
JeanBrickley Premium
Hmmm. So that's where it went. It probably seemed like only a shot glass or communion cup to George. Maybe we should slip something in to the next bottle and give George a nice long nap.
