We Can Change The World
Why not ? We can change the world (With heavy emphasis on the word 'can')
Words, words, words. Just words. How much power do they really hold. You read, you move on, you read some more and again you move on, most times forgetting what you've just read by the start of the next day.
Not today my friends, not today.
The above is an 'aside' and this is about changing the world but more directly, my world.
Today and I'm going to pinch one of Mike Finnegans catchphrases, "Was the best day at work ever". Defining 'work' as being present here at WA in one form or another.
I managed to really get stuck into some writing, which has been difficult to do over the last week. For once the house was empty, nearly all day. So I wrote and then wrote some more.
That's not why this was the best day at work ever, "No sir, we are not related"
Today I have been sat at a veritable banquet table, laden with some of the 'choicest' cuts of 'Blog posts'
One after another, after another, after another of brilliant posts. I've been treated to emotion, strategy, technical, uplifting and entertaining. It's been incredible, truly awesome (not keen on that word but sometimes it hits the mark)
There it is.
I just wanted to say thank you for making today so fulfilling and exceptional.
That's it, sorry it's short but sometimes less is more.
Thank you.

If you can say what needs to be said in 500 words then there’s no point in writing 1000.
Filler content is such a turn off
Yes indeed, though I have been known to waffle on occasion, not in a 'filler' way, more in a 'I've lost my thread/mojo and need to talk to find it again' way, or I've gone off on a tangent.
Anyway, you were a big part of my day. We Are All Imperfectly Perfect (Under Your Scars) Just a really great post that begs to be read. Thank you again.
I agree Dave. Some blogs will require a lot of information that will naturally see them reach over 1500 or more words. I've completed some that are over 3500 words, but they're informative posts that describe the uses, planting conditions and description of various herbs and other plants. These sort of articles can go on forever so I limit them into parts. Other blogs can fully explain there topic within 500 words, as long as they're engaging the audience. Jim
Congrats.
Nothing wrong with short posts. Just ask Seth Godin. His blog post today was 57 words, including the title.
You're right, it's more of an inner battle. I've not heard of him till now but have added his blog site to my desktop, so I can have a proper look. Liked his post though.
His new book is a bestseller.
I checked his blog stats. It ranks for 25,000 keywords and gets 50K organic traffic a month.
Today I posted on shopping for Back-to-school supplies, added a few Amazon associate links, crossed my toes and fingers someone will click a link, sent a Baboon Happy Birthday post way by of FB to an uncle in California I haven't seen in ages, and started contemplating the best way to write another post on remote viewing for fun an profit. And it's not yet even dinner time! I love Sundays!
