That's right. It's official Twacks been certified. For many it will come as no surprise. I am sure some will have been thinking that it was only a matter of time. Well I don't like to disappoint. Still, at least it's nice and comfy in my new surroundings.

So, for those of you who sometimes miss the point of what I'm trying to convey, I have qualified as a 'Site Commenter' Very happy and have learned a great deal whilst trying to reach the elusive number of comments needed in thirty days.

Before we get into it, I had a thought. Do you ever wish you'd lived in a different era ? I was

born in the 'sixties' but was too young to appreciate that decade or even the 'seventies', fully. For me it would have to be the 'seventies' though. I have no idea why. The fashion was less than desirable, technology hadn't really taken off in any major way and I don't remember it as being a particularly prosperous time as far as finances were concerned. Indeed, collecting 'pop' bottles and taking them back to the local shop to get the 'deposit' money for my sisters bus fare to school, was a regular occurrence. I know it's not the worst that's out there but we only know what we know. (Picture Circa 1977)

Maybe it was the colours. A few years ago I delivered some furniture to house on an estate that I know was built in the 'seventies'. It was new when I was a child living in that area and I've just done a quick Planning Index Card check and that confirmed it.

Well, it was like stepping back in time. I won't bore you with an itemised list of the artifacts but I will tell you why this house has stuck with me, sad that I am. It was the carpet. Now, I know green isn't the trendiest of choices but it is meant to be one of those 'calm' colours, not sure how I know that but it's true. This green was deep and the carpet itself was thick, I mean if you were in bare feet it would part your toes.

"GREEN - It Equalizes, relaxes, calms down, keeps physical and mental energy dynamically balanced, releases tensed-up, painful processes, brings profound serenity. Recent studies have shown it to be good for acne lesions. It helps heart problems; HBP; burns; cuts; bruises; pigmentation 475-510nm - heart chakra."

There, above, is a little something I found. So, if you're thinking of decorating your office or a room where you spend a good amount of time, green's your colour. You're welcome.

You know, I was going to give you some of my insight, nay thoughts, on the whole site comments thing but we're up to a semi-decent amount of words and I am aware of my short falls when it comes to pushing the envelope of attention spans. I will endeavour to come back with a slightly different take on what has, over recent times, been a fairly divisive subject.

Enjoy your day.

Certified Commentator!! Congratulations!
Will they give you markers to draw, or write, on the padded walls? I wonder...

Thank you. I can put in a good word for you. You can come and play forever and ever and ever....

LMAO

Well done for being certified great work and as for the years I am a 60s Babba and for me it was the 80s the music got me

I was a 70's baby, and had to endure not only the brown jumpers and flares and wonky fringe, but then enter the 80's with fluorescent socks and 'Choose life' T shirts. Oh those were the days. lol

Absolutely Sara

I still like wonky fringe...LOL

My mum used to cut my hair and I had 5 years of brown jumper wonky fringe school photo’s! (It was the done thing in the 70’s)

Lol

Likewise, I was a 'closet' New Romantic and then found Hawkwind, never been the same since.

I've never heard any of their stuff, any good ?

Tank tops and stretch jeans.

Stop I’m at the school gates laughing like a mad woman! 🤣😂🕺

Then my mum subjected me to frilly dresses until I went all Madonna and insisted on wearing men’s suits!

Ha ha...

Her look in 'Papa Don't Preach' was one look from the 80's, then again when she did 'Frozen' from the 'Ray Of Light' Album, well that was inspired.

I went through both phases, along with the corset vogue phase, and the 'Desperately seeking Susan' phase. OMG can't believe I have said that out loud!

Wow!
Great job Twack! Certified OEC and doing the SAC at the same time?
Big thumbs up to you Sir

Oops, sorry I meant Certified Commenter...

or just certified in general lol ; ) hahaha

Thank you Jane, just need to work on 'Chat'. All in good time.

If the shoe fits, which it does, as they've taken the laces.

😂 perfect 👌

You’ve got this 😎

So the padded room looks a really attractive place to be right now ; ) Congratulations, just shows, working hard, quietly in the background pays off here xx

I wonder if we will get crayons too...

That's me, quiet. Has to be said, it is rather plush here, just not to keen on the 'Muzak'

Yes and they're edible.

Yes please hahaha

Are we back to listening comfortably numb again?

I could ask, they might do requests.

Congrats 🎉

Thank you Denise, nice of you to drop by.

Dr Prof Emeritus Honoris Causa Twack.

Congrats on the certification, the padded walls room looks spectacular.

Yes the attention span is a real obstacle to long posts' reading and comprehension which is why I really wonder, in spite of what SEO and Google are recommending, if all posts on all subjects need be of a certain word count since not all subject matters will captivate the readers' attention, although it will captivate the algos.

Blessings!

Thank you Gabriel, your thanks are most welcome. Interesting point on 'Word count'. I know on here I have a tendency to 'go off on one' so I'm trying my very hardest not to waffle. Of course if the content is engaging enough then it becomes irrelevant as the reader will continue to the end regardless. Maybe that's more to do with website posts though. Not wanting to 'speak out of school' but I'm not one for following the guidelines to closely when it comes to content creation.

Congratulations.Twack.

Derek

Nice one Derek, it's certainly quieter where I am.

Congrats Twack! Join the Certified Club! I wish you were old enough to experience the 60's and 70's in England. I was old enough to have and enjoyed every moment of it.

I graduated Grammar School and went to Liverpool University. While there, groups like The Who, Manfred Mann, The Yardbirds (who changed their name to Led Zeppelin) and Pink Floyd performed at our Saturday Night Dance Nights before they become Internationally famous.

The Beatles released Penny Lane while I was living not far from that street. Walked down it many times. And there was no Barber Shop there lol. Maybe it moved by then.

I hope you have a great time being Certified!

Cheers.

Edwin

You've just made my case for me, what an era to be part of and not wearing shorts. I have 'roots' in Bootle and probably still have relatives in Southport, so have an affinity with the area.
Unfortunately I had to listen to likes of Mud and Showaddywaddy blaring from my sisters room. No wonder I'm certified.

Congratulations! 100% approval rate and 0% skip rate is awesome! I wonder how you did it! Amazing!

Josephine

Hey Josephine, If time allows I was going to try and post about the whole thing, might have to wait until tomorrow though. Thank you for your kind words.

Congratulations friend!

Nice one Billy, thank you.

Let us be the first to say congratulations and well done.
Regards
Darren & Nicola

Thank you both, you are indeed the first and congratulations to yourselves on all your successes of late. Awesome.
