200 Days As Ambassador. Time For Another Party.

200 days as Ambassador is not strictly true. It's actually 202. Slap me down with a wet kipper, my bad.

I spotted the number of days when it was at 193 and thought to myself, 'I need to keep an eye on that' Then it was gone. That reminds me, I need to order a remote control.

It wasn't until Linda (@LindaF) drew my attention to it, in a comment, that I realised I'd missed my own 'double century day' Me ? Missing the opportunity to have another party. That's unheard of.

Thank you, Linda. Consider this a 'Shout Out'. Also, if you want to see how someone really makes incredible progress through hard work and determination, check out Linda's series of recent posts, starting with 'A Share That Is Very Personal'

Back in the day, when days had their own identity, it was usual for me to let these kind of things pass me by. After I received a reprimand (in a very good-natured way) from Heidi (@HeidiAnders3) I realised the error of my ways.

We should celebrate everything, not just for our own feel good factor, more as an incentive to others. We all work extremely hard and sometimes we need to bolster our own fortitude. It keeps us going when things aren't going as we expect them to.

It also encourages, by showing that anything is possible and that the community applauds those achievements, no matter how small.

I was remiss, in initially celebrating reaching the magical 25, as I came in at 25. The last thing I wanted to do was throw a party, what if the next day I slipped to 26 ? That said it would be quite cool to just keep hovering in and out. Every other day you would get the 'Congratulations' email, or would we ?

Anyway, that was it really. I have a stack of notifications waiting for me, so I'd best get on it. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of this glorious day, remembering to stay safe, stay healthy and be happy.

Twack Romero.

You know Twack, I was just thinking about posting any little, or large, achievements I've made along the way. For a while, I was offering these achievements, but I began to wonder if I was pulling my own chain too often. Thanks for the new perspective and an attitude adjustment.

You're very welcome Greg. I was given one and in no uncertain terms. Now, nothing gets by.

Yeah, I miss her too

Now that made me laugh Twack.
That vision of you popping in and out, Ambassador/ not Ambassador, being inundated with congratulations every other day.
You could just keep adding the same YAY!! post back with slight variations, although it might lose its allure after a while.
I suppose we should add the achievements because it is encouraging, I mean to, but so many have passed me by now. Oooops.

I sat here laughing as I read this, to gave a wonderful visual to my thoughts.
My default is to ignore them and for the first year that's pretty much what I did. Now, I have seen the light. Party hearty Marty.

It's true that we should celebrate everything, even small accomplishments. I'm guilty myself not celebrating anything and this is another nudge for me to change that.
My ambassador's life was only short and at that time, I was also thinking why celebrate when I can fall out anytime. Eventually I did :)
I hope you'll stay as ambassador all this year, Twack. Can't imagine anyone better for that position.

To have reached the top 25 is reward in and of itself. My own feelings are that once you have become an Ambassador you should retain recognition of that for the remainder of your stay at WA. We could have a different coloured trophy maybe.
Thank you for your kind words, they mean a great deal.

That would be nice, colour badges. I can imagine a nice lilac badge for ex-ambassadors, that would suit me :)
Hope you are celebrating now!

Done now. Zzzz's time.

Congratulations on your longevity!
My time as an ambassador is now over as I need to devote as much of my free time as possible to growing my business. I'm glad to see some new faces in the top 25 but equally glad to see some reliable experienced hands there too!

Thank you Dave, really appreciate that.
Life pivots on timing, when we recognise that, making the hard decisions becomes a whole lot easier.

Congratulations, a great achievement.

Thank you Andy, very much appreciated.
