Good morning. I am looking for someone to create a starting web site for me to market my books from. Has anyone here done that before? Do you have any recommendations?
sounds like the next amazon....
i wouldn't spread yourself that thin to cover all books ...unless you are donig rare books then that is different...
i would choose a section that you know and like as you still need to create content in a blog..yep even amazon does it....
so you need to decide whether it will be a review site or another type of site.
you can easily build this with the wordpress plugins and the communities help

I'm not sure Mel would "create" a website for you, but he certainly has years of experience in publishing and marketing.
Over 1,100 published books, although many are reprints of Public Domain works.
But, if anyone can steer you in the right direction and help it's Mel.

Help with creating a web site to market books?

I was charged and paid for the yearly membership but am still getting charged other random fees. What are the for?

With respect to your WA accounts, just so you know, everything is available on-line right here on the WA platform for you to access and to check ...
Simply go to your WA Profile >> Account Settings >> Subscription Settings >> billing - membership - payment ...
in Billing -- you can view &/or print all your transactions -- very handy to know about this so that you can verify your statement of accounts ...
encourage you to check it all out for any variances ... it may be that there are conversion fees if you used a credit card and / or currency exchange fees or perhaps taxes from your jurisdiction ... remember that this platform works in USD ...which is consistent for all internet transactions ..

Google searching "how to create google news feed" (without the quotation marks, of course) provided a LOT of helpful posts in my search results... see 1st screen print below...
As for an RSS feed, you could use a plugin to do that... or if you are familiar with code, again, Google searching brings forth a lot of helpful posts. See 2nd screen print below...
