What NOT to do on Twitter
Once upon a time, I responded to a highly political tweet about a former mayor of Toronto, with my personal opinion that I would have said out loud and in public (something like "he was elected to represent Toronto and he has let his voters down with his bad behaviour in public.”).
Right after I did that, I lost nearly 500 followers ... or so, I honestly don’t remember. I was shocked at how many followers became annoyed with exactly what many of us were thinking.
Need I say, I learned the hard way to KEEP MY POLITICAL OPINIONS to myself!
Now I tweet things like the following image:
Or ... tweets like the following:
... no more political comments or tweets EVER!

Great point Trish and your story shows how devisive the topic can be. Steer clear of politics and religion people and spread the happiness :-)
