What I Have Learned in 2 Years at Wealthy Affiliate
My two year anniversary as a premium member here a Wealthy Affiliate (WA) is fast approaching. And, all I can say is this... this has been the best membership website that I have ever been a member of, and I can honestly say that I will NOT be leaving here any time soon.
When I started here, I was not sure if this would be for me or not. Having signed up seriously to take this membership for a “test drive” for the FREE 7-days of lessons was the smartest option that any membership site could ever offer their members.
Then, as I neared the end of my FREE trial, I get this offer for a REDUCED first monthly charge so that I can continue taking the lessons (even finish them if I wanted to!) to see if I wanted to continue as a member.
Now THAT option alone is really putting a website’s reputation on the line as far as being a type of website you would want to be a member of. I mean, can you tell me of ANY other membership site that would offer even ONE of these, let alone 2 great offers right up front?
There's More
The lessons alone are worth the membership fees, but then premium members are allowed to host websties fully monitored, fully protected, each with their own security certificate ta’boot!
There are far too many benefits here a WA for me to ever leave.
This blog post is my way of saying Thank YOU to Kyle and Carson for creating, maintaining and steadily improving this platform, all while still making the premium membership so affordable.
WA provides me with the opportunity to stay ahead of the many changes going on with website development, where before I had to play “catch up” with new standards that were being introduced... and, many times well AFTER they were introduce. But... not anymore!
Premium membership affords me to learn, learn, learn and I love to learn. Even helping others find answers to their technical issues, I get to learn about new options... many of which I have been able to apply to my other websites.
By other websites, I mean my local business (southern Ontario, Canada) and my customer’s sites too.
Other Benefits
I have learned that it is courteous to “Like” other member’s posts, training, questions and comments... simply because it is good manners, and my way of saying “I read your post, training, question and/or comment”... PLUS, it is a way for other member’s training to gain financial credit for the work they did in providing great tutorials!
The other option that seemed to take me far to long to discover was the great search tool at the very top of every WA membership web page. WOW, does that make it easier to find stuff ‘er what... right?
So, as a premium member we also have access to a great keyword tool known as Jaaxy, we have SiteSupport to help us with any web hosting issues we may encounter, an entire community of like-minded individuals in which we can ask help from... even help us pick a logo for our website, if we want to. This and a whole lot more.
WA has become soooo awesome to be a member of that I now say... it’s not a work place, but a WOW place!

If you don't mind me asking about what time frame was it that you put in when you started to make full time income?
Sorry Joshua, I do not discuss my financials with anyone. That's between my accountant, the Canadian gov't and me to know.

Even if you got to know everything that was on here, and ignoring the inevitable changes that will occur at regular times in the future, with 25 sites hosted within the membership, domain renewal prices fixed and domain support, the monthly subscription is just unbeatable.
No reason to ever leave
Great post and good points this isn't really a job it is an enjoyable place to work and a fun place to work. I agree with your best wishes for the rest of your journey with WA.

I have to say it is pretty good website, I haven't come by with something like this before, I guess this was the right time for me. I am a strong believer that Things come to us when we are prepared to embrace them and I am hungry to start being my own boss. I want to embrace a full leveraged life.
