Thanks for the tips. I have been wondering if Photoshop was my next big technical learning curve because I do need something to rework photos and such.
Take a look at what is available, check with Sharon too, she is looking them over. I am off to see my grand baby come into this world, leaving tomorrow. He will be my first grand son! Enjoy learning. Let me know what your conclusion is!
So, which one is your favorite? Gimp has quite a learning curve... I still seem to drift back to MS Paintbrush.
Gimp has a heck of a learning curve! I just found out about several of them, so have not had a chance to freak out over them yet. Am travelling the next couple of days, so as soon as I alight somewhere I will give each a once over! There are more if you look down the comments! And you just added MS Paintbrush. (thank you BTW). I used Picassa for a long time, but now I am looking for something a bit more advanced!
Yup, currently on the road ourselves. Do have hotspot if need be... just saving the data usage. Thanks Terea.
photoscape too, easy to resize up or down, and to add text and captions. Serif photoplus starter edition is great too...Andy

Two other programs to consider are: Irfanview (very comprehensive) and Picasa (from Google). As always, all programs have their pluses and minuses and much depends on what you need to do with your images. You may end up using a combination of them, as I often do.
