there is no optimum size for seo.
I tend to reduce mine on my pc down to 600 pixels by whatever the other forms in paint and save as keywordimage1smalldotjpg.
Then there is the alt text - which is used to tell blind people what the picture is, that google also looks at - as it doesn't understand images.
This does give you a chance of using this alt text as a bit of seo with a keyword dropped naturally in.
Don't stuff the keywords, but try to get one in at least in one of the images.

if you do your writing in site content and add images there, they are automatically optimized as you add them so no worries there

Do call to action buttons work better than call to action text
I think both are effective. Depends... I use action buttons if I'm promoting more than one product.
I think so... they look more professional... i have recently started to use buttons and i find that they stand out more...
I am currently using a page builder plugin called elementor. It's just amazing!!! And it's FREE!
You can use it to add buttons, create landing pages for your top products and so on... I used it for my home page and my WA promotion page. absolutely amazing plugin!!!

I submitted my sitemap to google but I am getting an error saying that my sitemap doesn’t have any urls. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You need to repeat the process of generating your sitemap and follow the advice given by Marion.
You need to use your SEO plugin to generate the sitemap Sitemap: Using All in One SEO Plugin Sitemap: Using Yoast SEO Plugin Sitemap: Submit to Google Search Console

Well, it's pretty obvious: a sitemap basically is a collection of links (URLs)
According to Google you have no links in it, so obviously, something went wrong when you've created that sitemap.
I recommend you to use a professional sitemap creator like:

or other tools included in this article:
https://goo.gl/SdGuHC

nah.. sharing and embedding videos are encouraged, if you do it you are helping out the youtuber.
If the video you want to use allows you to use it .. then it is not required to seek the permission no ...
