The Collaboratory Review I’m finally writing about my experience last Tuesday at The Collaboratory in New York City. It’s given me a lot to think about, so I apologize if my thoughts are a little jumbled and my writing shows that. In a nutshell, The Collaboratory was a gathering of Jewish entrepreneurs, leaders, social innovators and changes from all across North America (and I think a couple from Israel too). I arrived at the Marriot by the Brooklyn Bridge at about 8:45, as everyone was eat

CrossFit I joined CrossFit about 7 months ago and it's been one of the most amazing additions I've made to my life. I'm one of those people who always HATED exercise. I'm not an active, sporty type of gal and didn't move much. Now? CrossFit is my drug! I go twice weekly to CrossFit Palo Alto where I've got the most awesome coach, Tim. After each workout I come home with more energy than ever with the best attitude.Lt. Micheal P. Murphy Today, on Memorial Day, in commemoration of fallen soldiers,

A bit more productive than I've been of recent... :-) Project SWAG: 1 post - Are You Feeding Into Peoples Expectations of You? (worked on it earlier, but finally posted) I contacted several schools in my area to let them know about Project SWAG and perhaps meet to discuss more. We'll see what happens... Also sent out a personal email to many teachers, counselors, mentors and tutors that I know and have already gotten great feedback! Reaching out to others is a great way to invite th

I think this is the first time I can officially say that I have not done any blogging this week! I say this not with pride but with surprise. I thought I could pull off doing everything + taking care of my site, but I realize now that I can't and that that's ok. I returned home to Palo Alto for all of 32 hours before I was on the next plane out of town again. Thank G-d, things have been going well in my personal life, but it's definitely been cause for distraction. On top of that, it's pretty b

I'm writing this blog from about 30,000 feet above the ground. Well, that's just a guess, but I'd imagine it's somewhere around there... I'm heading home to Palo Alto (current residence) after spending Passover at home in Toronto (residence of parents and my belongings). As expected, not much has changed since last week, but a commitment is a commitment, so I'm blogging about it nonetheless. Project SWAG: Mostly finished an as of yet unpublished post. Look for that one soon :) Google Analytics:

Wow! I honestly can't believe it's been 4+ weeks since I began my personal 100 day challenge! I'm not quite where I wanted to be in terms of blog posts and WA training, but I'm not complaining... This is being done in my 'downtime' and I'll take what I can get ;) With the Passover holiday upon us, life has been busier than usual and there's no work done on actual holy days... so my update's a bit late, but preparation for the holiday prevented me from getting this done earlier. So, here goes: W

As many of you know, I've been diligently working on my newest project, Project SWAG, for the last few weeks. Project SWAG is a free tool for educators offering a series of character building workshops for use both in and out of the classroom. The Collaboratory Recently, I got an email that included a link to 'The Collaboratory'. I was curious to see what it was all about and clicked on About Us. Here's what I saw: The Collaboratory was born to provide a forum for emerging leaders to build rel

Your Testimonial Hey everyone! I'm looking for WA testimonials for my new site and would love it if you could help me out! MyStory explains how I was able to build a website for my program Project SWAG with the help of WA and without WA, there was no way I could have done that! I would like to show my readers that I am not the only one who has had success with WA and would really appreciate it if you could share your story too.Specifications Because of the nature of my site and the fact tha
