Most of us have social media sites and we fill them up with all kinds of personal information and likes. Such as our favorite bands, books and movies. You name it, it's all there!

So why is it, when it comes to our WA profiles they are like ghost towns?

Our profiles here at Wealthy Affiliate are gateways to our business's and are viewable from the internet. So if a visitor sees your profile here and it's practically blank, what reason do they have for joining up as a referral?

Okay, first things first
Many of us use internet nicknames and I'm no exception to this, I use the nick Jaytech but on the very first line of my profile I introduce myself.

"My name is Jason & I'm from the UK, my friends call me Jay"

Internet marketing is about interaction, how can people interact with us if they don't even know our names?

Next, we need to put in some information about ourselves, our background and history, why we're here.

Why are you here? Do you have a goal or a dream, share it with your readers, pull them in and make them want to be a part of this great community. There's no need to write a complete autobiography, just make your profile interesting with some relevant information.

I'd say it is important to work at your own pace. So many times I see people here saying they're overwhelmed and burned out. There really is a lot to take in, so pace yourself.

The points I've outlined in this training will continue working for you day in and day out once implemented, that's the cool part about it :)

Great training, Jay. I'm surprised no one mentioned it sooner. Looks like a lot of us have some editing to do!

Fortunately, I was aware of these things even when I first joined WA due to previous experience. But I'm happy to pass it on, I should have done it months ago :)

Some times it's the small things that make a difference. It's often blatantly obvious things that are staring us in the face, but when it's put to you in a different way, it all falls into place :)
