Before I get to the gold I just wanted to touch base on some things,
Domains are very crucial to your affiliate marketing success. But you are in luck and they still remain relatively cheap to buy, so if you do not get the results you anticipated it won't be a business breaking mistake. Find another and keep trying.
On another note, Finding concise domain name days are numbered. This is not to say you still cannot find the next big domain name just don't be discouraged when a lot of what you are looking for has been taken. Making slight variations can pay-off huge, due diligence is key and research is paramount when choosing a domain.
11 professional Tips When Choosing the Perfect Affiliate Doman Name
1. Get Familiar with terminology and terms being searched in your market
The lingo is important and what people are saying usually is the next big thing. There are lots of tools available, such as Google Keyword Planner (Which has replaced the Google keyword tool) Or another tool that will help you determine popular searches on products in your respective niches. Generally, keep 5-7 Keywords on Hand and Phrases that can help you determine your domain name.
2. Always Make Sure To Include Niche Keywords in your Domains Names
Big name Search Engines like flowing keywords in the domains names allowing searchers to get a better Idea that what they are looking for will be contained under that particular keyword phrase on the domain. Keep it Broad but not overly broad. There is still not enough substantial evidence to say that it is better to have keywords at the beginning or the end of a domain. I have yet to see or hear anything stating otherwise
3. Choose Dot.com's Whenever Available
Still widespread and the most commonly used ''.Com'' Is the place to be. Now finding a particular Domain can be tricky but they are still out there and being found every day and anyone can do it.
4. Try to keep the domain name as short as possible
This is why I chose to go with my name a network hub for RoscoStretch.com, Now this can be tricky. People generally won't know who I am right away which will be the case for many. I Branded heavily with social media in my early stages so the majority of my traffic is free-flowing organic I have generated. They have an idea to some degree... I'll touch more on this later but in all situation, shorter is better unless your long stringing keyword domain can hit your niche in one phrase.
5. Broad and general, are not always better than Narrow and specific in this case (Be Precise)
Bringing you domain close as close to sub-niche as possible is important, will have increased results over time. But For example, let's say you choose to sell computer hardware - your targeting gamers don't choose familypcdeals.com. Go with something along the lines of BestGamingPcDesigns.com. I have a sub-niche performance gaming Hardware website benefitsofoverclocking.com this is almost niche click. <--- It was actually my first ever Domain

8. Do not Copy Content, Be mindful not to violate names or brands that are copyrighted
Make sure to have permissions to use anything that was not initially created by YOU, creating content is easy and there are always programs available to take things and make them all your own safely. If you want to use something ask, most affiliate companies will provide you with the appropriate content you need if you are cleared to use their programs.

This method can be a proverbial goldmine when it comes to picking up a website domain that was never renewed for whatever reason. Some of these old domains have untapped potential and are something to always keep an eye out for.
11. Having more than one domain is a good thing
If your initial dot.Com is doing well odds are others are noticing this trend as well. Moving to secure .net .ca .org can prove to be a good move as to not allow piggybacking of your traffic. Keeping it original is not something that is trending on the internet itself at any time.
