Step 6: How to Breeze Through Your Tasks

Now when you sit down you'll have a clear plan of action to follow, with steps, deadlines and goals to hit.

Now that you have a clear reminder of why you're doing it, what you will achieve, and what pain or problem you are solving, you increase your chances of doing that task immensely.

That is because it's a concrete task in your mind, your brain has acknowledged what needs to be done and that it's real and will feel compelled to get it done and out the way.

This simple "mind hack" makes taking action much easier and more likely.

It works well on everything from online business tasks to remembering what you need to buy at the grocery store.

Seriously if you're the type of person who walks around the supermarket thinking "I know I needed something but I can't think what it is" only to find yourself back at home later and suddenly remembering you should have bought bread and milk, try using this "mind hack".

Tell yourself: "Today when I leave work at 6 pm, I'll drive to Walmart, walk straight to the milk fridges, and pick up a litre of half fat milk, and then head straight to the bread aisle and get a loaf of Wholemeal before I drive home. Otherwise I'll be hungry tonight and not be able to have a cup of tea and toast tomorrow morning with breakfast".

I've gone from someone who forgets everything and constantly walking around the supermarket lost to someone who always remembers the items I need because of this.

Get specific with your aims or to do lists/tasks and I guarantee you're more likely to remember them and to take action on completing them.

Will you try it and let us know in the comment box below?
