Writing means you are expressing your emotions, your feelings and your thoughts.
You are creating information to entertain someone,to spread awareness about something or some one or simply writing what is in your mind.
- Write in short sentences. Do not write a very long sentence that will make some one bored before they get your message or miss your point.
- Write few sentences in a paragraph. Use your short sentences to go straight to the point in three to four sentences.
- Avoid using Jargon. Your readers want to get what you are talking about without going to look for the meaning of the new words in your writing.
- Use ''I", "You" and "We". This will sound formal, it creates the relationship between the writer, reader and his organization respectively.
- Make bold statements. When you are expressing your points avoid words like "generally" or "basically"
- Go straight to your point when explaining something, do not take your reader around before they get your message.
- Avoid spelling mistakes, double check your words, or proof read when you have finished writing.
- Write consistently to improve your writing skills. You might not write well from the beginning but practicing will help you to sharpen your skills.
- Use figures of speech correctly. They emphasize, freshen and clarify your information.
