Whew...the hard part is done. Now all we have to do is reap the rewards of our hardwork by submitting our article to ONE of the top directories.

My suggestion is to choose one of the top 3 article directories:

And there are also a few other possibilities...

One thing you want to do is check to make sure that the directory you are submitting to does not already have an article target the SAME keyword within their first page of the Google search results. To do this, perform a simple search, in this case, "find a job in a down economy" (in quotes).

I would recommend submitting to StreetArticles.com for all of your articles because of the rankings, approval times, and the community within Street Articles. The other directories can be used as your alternative if you want to diversify your backlinks or your traffic sources.

Note: DO NOT submit the same article to multiple directories are submit content that is already on your site to article directories. Search engines do not like duplicate content submitting it could adversely affect your rankings.

This is super-helpful---thx! It reminded me of simple ways to see what ppl are asking, so I can tap into the flow of questions and provide answers/responses. So good for selecting a niche. And the hint about checking what ADs already have given top ranking to an article with the same keywords as mine----just that one hint will help me winnow down how to submit articles.
