I'm not sure about the paid version as I use the free version.

I may be way off but I believe that you would need an email service like Aweber, MailChimp etc.. for that.

I actually had Mailchimp reinstate my account already, after quite a few emails explaining my intention of using their service, how I build the list, and providing them an example of a drip campaign. I have no live campaign yet so I just gave them an outline of one that I will be using when I have my site up and running. Glad that worked.

Double opt in is highly recommended, according to the guild from Mailchimp. And I do want quality subscribers so I'm trying to figure out how to enable that. I saw a guild Mailchimp about double opt in a few days ago but at that time my account was still disabled.

It's great to know Sumo free version fully integrates with Mailchimp.

BTW, I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but affiliate marketing is one of the prohibited types of content, according to Mailchimp. You can find info from this link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/acceptable_use/

I have sumo on my website and I find it does a very good job for social media sharing, forms to collect emails and contact forms. It is also very easy to install and get going.
