This training video explains the differences between pages and posts and also provides a secret sauce to boost your posts' SEO value.
Here's what's covered:
- Pages
- How to manage pages in your sites menus
- Posts
- The big difference between pages and posts
- Super secret sauce to enhance the SEO of your posts
[Edit] I've now updated the video with playlist bookmarks so you can jump to the bits you're interested in. :)
[Note] At the end of the pages section I talk about posts being evergreen. I meant pages (sorry)!
This is my very first video training module so I'd love your feedback in the comments!

Hi, this was brilliant. I feel so lucky to have landed here :)
I am trying to organise my MENU a bit as I go adding on posts and now the drag down top Menu /Categories lists are getting a bit messy.
I have a question for you if you dont mind.
I only have 2 pages (Home & About) and then I created 3 Categories and I have all my posts under each category as sub. However I do need to sub categorise the categories. How should I go about with this?
1. Change the Categories to Pages
2. Create Sub sub categories?
Appreciate your comments and thanks again for the professional video and the great hints on TAGS, SEO etc...
have a great evening. Marisa

Thank you @philemerson. I've just learnt something new about wordpress pages and posts. I have worked with wordpress for several years now but until now I did not understand the value or meaning of categories. I treated them as just other forms of tagging. Thank you for defining them for me.
