Why You Should Maintain an Annual Membership
When I wrote the article I had one critic who said the cost was too high saying you could read all the information in a short time and leave. He said the information was free elsewhere on the Internet. He made an estimate of how much the owners were making on the site and inferred that it was just like other money-making sites. His bio page is still here but I’m pretty sure he is not an active member.
He said that people make a commitment to making money automatically and they had no reason to commit to a long membership here.
He also said there was no need to make contacts and associations with other members because there were other ways to do that. He said anybody could learn how to market on the Internet in couple of months and that there was no reason to delay that process, that he could obsorb what was here then in a few days.
Now this gentlemen was (and probably still is) an experienced Internet marketer and maybe it was not what he needed at the time. But things have changed dramatically here and some of those who are making a good living here were here then and before. They saw the future and they are major contributors here.
Some have come here and spent a good deal of time but have moved on. Life’s goals sometimes change and some have branched out into other areas of marketing. And WAU is like a regular university in that you can spend a shorter time here, gain what you were looking for, and then leave. But just like a regular university, people leave and then return.
So following are the main reasons I can think of to maintain a full-year membership in WAU:

You and all the other members is what draws me to WA.
Sure, I can find the same information scattered online for free; but I won't find a better group of like minded individuals who will help me 24/7 at the drop of a hat. Not only help me, but genuinely support me and care about my success.
Teacup also brought up such a great point. Everything online changes SO quickly. It's reassuring to know everything is up-to-date here.
